Welcome to the Blue Dolphin Inn, a charming 2-bedroom, 2-bath retreat nestled in a quiet neighborhood just a mile from downtown Cedar Key. This beautifully restored home blends historic Old Florida character with modern comforts, offering the perfect home base for your island escape. With antique furnishings, a newly renovated kitchen, and peaceful outdoor spaces, the Blue Dolphin Inn invites you to relax and unwind on island time.  
  
Interior Features:  
Inside, the home offers classic Cedar Key character with the comforts of modern living.  
\~Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and a private ensuite bathroom with a corner shower.  
\~Bedroom 2 features two twin beds and uses the full hall bathroom with a large walk-in shower.  
  
\~The living space is split into two cozy areas: a front seating area perfect for a quiet read, and a warm living room with a couch, chair, and smart TV. The kitchen is beautifully redone with modern appliances, ample counter space, and is fully stocked with everything you need for cooking. A spacious laundry room includes a full-sized washer and dryer for your convenience. The home is decorated with locally sourced antique furnishings and rich in historic charm.

The Blue Dolphin Inn offers relaxing outdoor areas to enjoy Cedar Key’s fresh air and coastal charm.  
\~The large, covered front porch is comfortably furnished, ideal for morning coffee or evening breezes.  
\~The back deck is smaller and overlooks a fenced yard, providing privacy and a great space for kids or pups to play.  
\~There is a fish cleaning station on the back deck as well  
\~In the front yard there is shower for rinsing off and a hose to wash off your boat after a day on the water!  
  
Neighborhood:  
\~Tucked into a peaceful neighborhood just about a mile from downtown, this home provides quiet comfort while still being close to Cedar Key’s shops, restaurants, and waterfront attractions. You’re a quick bike, golf cart, or car ride from everything the island has to offer.  
  
Notes:  
Dog-friendly – bring your well-behaved pup!  
Pack ’n Play available upon request for guests traveling with little ones.  
Boat parking available on-site.  
\-Please be respectful of the neighbors and the area you are staying  
\-Do not trespass on other people's property, this includes docks and driveways  
\-Please be careful where you park, don't block people in, use neighbors property, park on the sidewalk or impede traffic  
\-Parties and/or events are not allowed  
\-No smoking inside or within 10 feet of doors or windows $250 fine if the property smells of smoke  
\-Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 fine for each animal  
\-$150/person/day fee for over occupancy limit  
\-Please don’t eat or drink anything besides water in the bedroom  
\-Quiet hours 10 pm to 7 am per local Noise Ordinance  
\-Please respect the check-in and check-out times. $500 for each 4 hours, or portion unauthorized thereof, of early check-in and late checkout.  
\-Guests are responsible for any damage they cause. If something does happen contact us ASAP and we will see if there’s a way to quickly take care of the issue before it gets worse and costs more.  
\-Please don’t rearrange the furniture.  
\-Please do your dishes.  
\-No illegal substances allowed on premises.  
\- Primary renter must be at least 25 years old or active military.  
\- ESA and service animals require documentation and adherence to our policies.  
\- Do not set the AC below 72° or heat above 78°.   
\- If there are kayaks or bikes included in the rental, use these responsibly, following all Florida regulations. Not all units under management include kayaks or bikes, please reference the listing to see included amenities. You confirm you are trained in the use of kayaks and bicycles. You are responsible for any damages or injuries resulting from their use.
