"ALL OF THE STAFF at the Black Hawk are BEYOND Kind & Welcoming. We loved staying here 3 nights as we provided support to our fam on Ragbrai. We switched rooms and both were terrific. Spacious and clean with a lot of eclectic antiques throughout the hotel. Bartender at Cocktail lounge makes some great drinks and is also SUPER NICE. Great location with lots of restaurant options / bars. "
"The description is true to the house. It's a charming brick home in a quiet neighborhood. The beds have mattress toppers which were comfortable and soft. The kitchen had pans, cookie sheets, and utensils. Everything you would need to make a meal. It worked well for our family of 6. There was plenty of room to sprawl and be comfortable yet close together for family meals and games. "

"Overall the studio was ok. there’s definitely a weird smell. There’s no where to hang up bath towels. No hand soap. The tub is not draining and was not clean, there were small hairs from someone else on the tray where you put a bar of soap. "
