"If you like the feel of an era of a time gone by, you will not be disappointed. This place has been restored to spindler and makes the entire place easier to just relax. "Located about 5 blocks from the Amtrak station within historic Hermann. The inn consists of several dwellings in relatively close proximity, each having been renovated into multiple single room units. We arrived early of check in time and our room was not yet available. The innkeeper was welcoming and said he would call us when the room was ready, which he forgot to do, causing us to have to kill time wandering the town unnecessarily. When we eventually got to our room, it was found to be on the second floor of one of the old renovated houses. It was small in size and adequately furnished. The only criticism of the room was that it had a glass transom over the door, and the light from the hallway prevented the room from getting dark."
