Creek side location was peaceful and serene. I enjoyed walking the creek looking for rocks and the water was deep enough in one section for the dog to swim. The cabin was located a short distance from Duncans Mills and Guerneville. I also visited Occidental, Goat Rock Beach, Freestone and Armstrong Woods. It's rare that you can find a property this close to the water! The patio and hot tub were great amenities! The cottage is small and quirky, but that's part of the charm. Beautiful surroundings. If you’re a cook I would recommend bringing your own sharp knives, spatula, tongs, etc. The cooking utensils provided aren’t top notch but never are. Check in was easy. House was clean and ready upon arrival. Rear of property is especially nice.We all enjoyed exploring the creek.The gated parking was great. Only down side is the proximity to the highway. At night the cars passing on the highway seem loud and the headlights light up the inside of the cabin. Our teen slept in the loft area which has no curtain or blind. Adding a blind or curtains would block out the car headlights. ##### Lewis F. There is a little bit of road noise, but we were able to ignore it for the most part. The house was prefect and we spent most of our time outside on the patio. The fire table is great and the hot tub was nice to relax in. The frogs after dark were a special treat and we also got to see ducks, geese and a huge banana slug!
