It is also eco-friendly, safe, and has great hosts. Our host Kolleen was amazing. She went above and beyond to welcome us and gave her recommendations for places to visit and food to eat. My only recommendation is to rent a golf cart if planning to go back and forth to the split/tourist areas. On-site owners/hosts are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and available. The property is incredible, especially the rooftop area. We used all of the public spaces during our stay. Aldo and Kolleen provided detailed information on where to eat and shop, and recommended activities. They welcomed us with a ride into town. Bikes are available and necessary, but being able to ride into the action and return for downtime was incredible. The location provides an escape, while also providing easy access to Caye Caulkers best. The property was further away from the town than I realised so a golf cart or taxi is needed to go to a store, however this also provided the peaceful atmosphere. The personal contemporary touches, in addition to the eco friendly architecture made it very peaceful. Aldo & Coleen are both down to earth, friendly, and a vibrant host/couple. They made me feel right at home and went above and beyond. They even provided a list of places to go in addition to golf carts which was helpful. They also have free bikes to ride in town. Aldo provide me a ride in town to get groceries. I definitely recommend getting a golf cart if going during the rainy season as it's a off the grid. I would definitely recommend their place if you want a peaceful, beautiful rooftop scenery, bar on site that you can rent, yoga and off the grid!
