UNIQUE COUNTRY HOME
My 1800's home (with chestnut wood beams and large wood plank floors) sits on 10 1/2 acres on a quiet country road surrounded by fields and woods with a small frog pond beyond. A kitchen-dining room and living room (with fireplaces) and half-bath are on the first floor. Upstairs are three bedrooms, a full bath and office area. The lower level holds a small apartment (n.a) and a covered porch. A patio adjoins the porch with an herb garden. Offering the possibilities of enjoying the immediate surroundings (where a ten-minute walk down Mossy Hill road brings you to the refreshing Kaaterskill Creek) you can also enjoy the nearby Ramshorn-Livingston Bird Sanctuary and Arboretum in Catskill or take a scenic drive up the mountain to North-South Lake Campground or Colgate Lake. The location is also great as it is 10 minutes by car to I 87, 15 to Saugerties, Catskill or Palenville and 25 minutes to Woodstock.
