Without question, our best experience was here at the Shores B&B in Castlegregory! Annette and her staff made us feel right at home. We loved the relaxing views of the ocean in front and the peaceful hills in the back. The ocean view from the dining room is amazing, and breakfast was above and beyond anywhere else we stayed. Castlegregory is the perfect place to get away from the busy city streets and walk the beach or take a leisurely drive through the mountains. The sights through Conor pass and along the Dingle peninsula are breathtaking. The Shores is like a 5 Star accommodation. Annette is a class act. You can see by all the details in the lovely B&B. Our room had all the comforts of home. It was squeaky clean. Breakfast was incredible. Simply cannot say enough about this beautiful place. The ocean is right across the street so the views are just incredible. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Spectacular setting. Ocean view past patchwork pastures leading down to the shore. So clean, beautifully furnished, and decorated that when I opened the door to walk in I hesitated. Actually considered removing my shoes. The breakfasts were superb. Our flight out required us to leave very early on our final day. The evening before our last day we informed the owner, Annette, that we want to check out and arrange payment that evening. She was happy to oblige and asked if she could give us a breakfast tray that evening. Sounded good to us. About ten minutes later she returned with cereal, fruit, brown bread, butter, a small drip coffee pot ready for hot water, and a thermos style carafe of milk. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Annette and her staff are wonderful. Everything is perfect. We travel extensively and stay at a myriad of B&Bs. The Shores is by far the best, in all categories. The location (views) the owner (Annette) and her fantastic staff and the cleanliness of the rooms coupled with the truly “Best breakfast in Ireland” make for an unforgettable stay. You would do yourself well to stay here and enjoy their every attention to detail. What a lovely place!! The hostess was so kind and attentive, the room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the ocean, and the location was great - very quiet and close to Dingle and the Slea Head Drive.
