We loved sitting by the pool, although it wasn’t heated, so too cold to use in April. We did love using the indoor heated pool and hot tub each day. "Beautiful, clean apartments in tiny Castelnuovo Berardenga. Perfect for day trips throughout Tuscany with a drive of an hour or less to just about anywhere. Guiliani was an absolute gem and she took wonderful care of us. In addition to the excellent wines of Poggio Bonelli, there are a couple excellent restaurants in Castelnuovo Berardenga with Bengodi Enoteca Ristorante being absolutely superb."

"Ultimo Mulino Hotel was amazing! The property is so peaceful and beautiful. We had breakfast both mornings and ate at their on site restaurant both evenings. The food was delicious and the staff was incredible. Leno was our server both nights- she was amazing and so helpful making suggestions on food and wines. We also enjoyed the spa for the wellness package and a couples massage for our honeymoon. We highly recommend this to everyone! It was so relaxing and worth the cost."

There are nice wineries and restaurants nearby too and the concierge made very helpful recommendations and reservations for us. Use the hotel name (and not just the address) since the Apple Maps and Google Maps gets confused otherwise."
