A traditional single storey cottage situated on a wonderfully located hill farm within a ten minute drive of the popular holiday town of Gatehouse of Fleet.The cottage is situated adjacent to the steading with a private patio and garden to the rear and with fantastic views down the valley to the islands in Fleet Bay. The cottage provides cosy accommodation furnished and equipped to a high standard in this lovely area.
Gatehouse of Fleet itself is a popular town with a variety of pubs, hotels and restaurants plus two seven day mini markets. There is a testing nine hole golf course and tennis court and a wide range of fishing is available in the immediate area. Loch Whinyeon can be reached by a hill path from the cottage itself.
Within a short drive are the wonderful sandy beaches at Sandgreen and Mossyard, perfect for bathing, windsurfing and sailing and the whole area is ideal for walking and cycling. Forest tracks near the cottage are ideal for mountain biking and the Kirroughtree Stage of the 7Stanes Mountain Bike Network is within a half hour drive.
