Accommodation and pool were great, not a heated a pool but on hot days that’s no issue. "Beautiful setting, great gardens and pool. The house is spacious and airy with lots of different areas to sit, eat and explore. The villa isn't really walking distance to the village and the unmade road can be difficult to drive especially after heavy rain. There needs to be some modifications to the house, it's all very traditional and brown and the gas hob takes forever to heat up (boiling a kettle is a 20 minute job). "We had a very nice stay and overall this is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. We had two adults and and two 15 year old girls for 5 nights. The home is very charming with adequate bedroom and bathroom space. The outside spaces are nice, especially the covered eating area. The kitchen is equipped with the basics and there are several small grocery stores in walking distance (up and down the stairs) to purchase local foods to self cater."

"The property was a comfortable transition from a regular hotel room. We enjoyed the outdoor patios and used the kitchen for breakfast 2 days and the washing machine several times. "It was a real unusual property, a rustic village house. There is a little known castle ruin a short walk up the hill. Loved the washing machine, fire, cat and the helpful owner. It is hard to find, park at the town crossroads and walk up and right. But the locals will point you to it."
