Tucked away in a more secluded area of the property, the “Family” Glamping Tent #4 is one of our 5 larger glamping units that offer a peaceful off-grid retreat surrounded by trees, and the occasional visit from deer at sunrise. While there’s no power in the tent itself, you’ll find comfort in the simplicity - like a cozy queen bed, bunk beds for the kids, and a wood stove for warmth on cooler nights. Mornings start slow here: coffee in hand from our nearby general store, seated in Adirondack chairs on your covered deck as birdsong and soft morning light ease you into the day. After hiking or exploring Roaring River State Park, return to your private firepit for a meal under the stars and a night of true stillness. We really enjoyed the tent and just getting to have some family time. The housekeeper was super nice also. We also got some entertainment from the guy that had the golf cart that broke down. He was very mad and screaming and yelling but that didn't bother us. There is also a white cat that kept getting into our tent. I think it was just a cat that lives in the woods.
