Casino at Best Western Kootenai River Inn

Over my 3 day stay, I had 3 different rooms for a range of reasons. The first room was on the top floor with a cement staircase that was falling apart. The railing had safety tape so people wouldn't fall through, and there was a safety cone where part of a stair was missing. When I got to the room, I noticed it was not cleaned prior to my arrival. There was crumbs on almost every surface, trash, and infested with small bugs. I went to the front desk to see about changing rooms and was met with a kiosk where their overnight staff was outsourced. The overnight kiosk people exchanged my key for another. This room looked adequate for the night. The next day, when I got back to the room.. it wouldn't open. The lock was busted and even though the key I was using was correct, the lock would not open. I went back to the main office, and the overnight kiosk gave me a new key. Same issue, the door lock itself was not operating properly. I went back to the front 2 more times, and got 2 more keys. I asked about maintenance, they said to wait until the day staff was working. So I went back and shimmied the door for 10 min until it finally opened. The next morning, I was given another new room. The room was mostly fine, except the toilet wouldn't flush. The staff suggested moving to another new room.. instead, I asked for a plunger. 3 rooms, in 3 days. The only positive, the day staff was kind and tried to help where they could. I got a $25 discount and will never stay there again
