"Stayed for 3 nights in one of the main rooms. Room was surprisingly large, with a comfy bed and sofa. Shower is a bit tight, but water pressure was excellent. Would definitely stay here again in in the region."

"Beautiful home!! There were lots of stocked items for us like body wash, toiletries, seasonings, etc. just little things that made the stay a tad easier. We did lose hot water one night after several of us took showers but we did have a big groupWonderful stay!!!!"
Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort

"My only complaint was the community showers and restrooms. We stayed for 2 nights, Friday and Saturday. In that time, the bathrooms and showers were never cleaned. There was a lot of trash and towels left in the shower rooms from other guests. One of the urinals (there were 2) in the men's room was pretty gross, and it was never cleaned. They did have some cleaners there on Sunday morning that cleaned out the showers that weren't in use. You should definitely bring shower shoes if you plan on using the showers while staying there. We stayed in a glamping tent, it was fun. The portable heater in the tent was easy to use and took the edge off the cold nights. The tents have locking doors with a code. There are no tables inside the glamping tent except for two night stands next to the bed. There was also a twin-sized bed with a trundle and a futon. There's also a picnic table outside for meals and a fire pit at each tent to enjoy. The restaurant at the resort had good food, and the staff was friendly. Overall, it was a fun place to stay. Overall, the resort looked well cared for. The pool area was nice and clean. The location of the resort is pretty remote and felt peaceful. The night skies were beautiful."

"Rustic cabins which creates the relaxed atmosphere that you expect at a ranch BUT the amenities border on 4 Star. Helpful staff, Great in room amenities and the views are worth the price. On property restaurant provides upscale dining in a rustic, ranch environment. Great place to un-plug and have restoration time or explore the canyons."

"Quality Home for Vacation near Zion. Pro's: 1. Communication with the Host was outstanding. 2. Home is well designed, maintained and stocked. Beds are comfortable. Plenty of hot water. 3. less than 10 minutes from the East Mesa Trailhead to Observation Point. - a great hike. at the end you can look down upon Angels Landing. 4. Central location if you want to check out activities in Orderville (Slot Canyon Tours) and Zion National Park. Orderville is about 30 minutes away, Zion/Springdale is 1 hour away. 5. the home is part of Zion Ponderosa Ranch - about a 10 minute drive to the main part of the Ranch - where a Hot Tub, Pool, East Zion Adventures Office, Restaurant, and other activities are available. We utilized the hot tub after each days long hikes. While at the cabin - we BBQ'd, cooked meals in a great kitchen, made coffee, played poker at the dining room table, watched a movie upstairs after a long hike of the Narrows, and enjoyed breakfast. its a solid basecamp, and is a quiet location to recharge after a few days of adventure. Con would simply be that it is 1 hour drive from Zion National Park Entrance, but I think the value/price reflects this. All in all, I would recommend!"

"Jim and family have created a quaint cabin stay in Mt. Carmel. You can enter Zion from the east entrance and take the Zion Scenic drive to the south entrance and visitor's center. Other than a little road noise, its a very quiet, peaceful spot. The cabins are co.fortable and well stocked if you want to make a light meal. There aren't a lot of dining options nearby, but the included breakfast was good."
