"Stayed for three nights. Staff were welcoming and helpful, hotel was spotless and breakfast was good. Nice lobby bar that puts on music for a hour in the evenings. Didn’t get a chance to try the rooftop bar and swimming pool as it was closed due to bad weather. The ceiling in our bathroom leaked a bit during a rainstorm but didn’t cause any damage or discomfort. Overall recommend as it is very central and well placed for the Metro and nearby shopping. 9th floor room get a little dated but it looks like the whole place is being refurbed from the ground up."

"The Catalonia Boulevard is perfectly located in the Eixample district, walkable to Passeig de Gràcia, Gaudí landmarks, and some of the city's best restaurants. The lobby alone sets the tone: elegant, well-designed, and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and modern, exactly what you'd expect from a well-run city hotel. But the real highlight for me was the restaurant: the steak tartare is an absolute must. Don't skip it. One honest note: on my first full day, the WiFi was completely down, which was particularly inconvenient as I was traveling for work. However, what turned a frustrating situation into a positive memory was the staff: a team member personally came to find me to let me know the issue had been resolved. That kind of proactive, attentive service is rare and genuinely appreciated. Would stay here again without hesitation."

"The agent who checked us in was very nice and welcoming, and even offered us coffee, which we appreciated. However, the next morning there was a different female agent working, and we were charged €1 per coffee pod. This was never disclosed to us at check-in, especially since the coffee had initially been offered as though it were complimentary. The rooms are also designed a little oddly and may not be for everyone. That said, the location is excellent and very centrally located, making it easy to walk to just about everything."
