"Mi estadía en el Hotel Meliá en Ponce fue una experiencia buena, aunque con algunos detalles que vale la pena mencionar para quienes estén pensando quedarse allí. El personal fue sumamente atento: me permitieron hacer early check‑in y hasta me descontaron los $50 del cargo por escribir una reseña, lo cual se agradece muchísimo. Ese gesto marcó una diferencia positiva desde el principio. La estética del hotel me encantó —tiene un estilo clásico ponceño que siente especial— y la piscina estuvo súper cool y divertida. Perfecta para relajarse un rato después de caminar por el casco urbano. ¡Y hay parking! Ahora, los detalles menos ideales: • No había Wi‑Fi en el cuarto, lo cual hoy en día es un “must”, especialmente si uno trabaja remoto o simplemente quiere mantenerse conectado. • No había agua caliente, y por cómo se sentía, me imagino que estaban teniendo problemas con el calentador. No es el fin del mundo, pero definitivamente afecta la comodidad. • El bar del hotel estaba fuera de servicio durante la semana, lo cual fue un bajón porque hubiese sido ideal tener café o traguitos en la noche sin tener que salir. En vez de eso, me recomendaron el café cruzando la calle. Está bien, pero no es lo mismo que tenerlo en la propiedad. Si estás pensando quedarte en este hotel, mi recomendación es ir jueves, viernes, sábado o domingo, cuando el ambiente está más activo y, probablemente, cuando el bar funciona. ¡La zona es fantástica, y los restaurantes alrededor son excelentes!"

"Beautiful and clean property with amazing hosts! This couple has procured a wonderful house with views of the mountains but also embed in the jungle surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. They offer personalized tours of all the hot spots and the less known, exotic local areas. We really enjoyed waking up to fresh lattes and ending our days with good conversation with Christine and Jose. We will definitely be back for one of their tours as there's so much to see in Utuado and surrounding towns."
