Cette ancienne maison familiale est située sur notre vignoble en activité et nous avons pensé que ce serait une occasion manquée de ne pas la restaurer. Maintenant, il est entièrement restauré avec une cuisine et une salle à manger ouvertes et spacieuses, donnant sur la généreuse véranda et la station de barbecue situées à côté du jardin privé (pour votre usage uniquement) et une douche extérieure pour vous rafraîchir pendant les mois les plus chauds. Cette belle propriété est située au sein de notre vignoble des Côtes de Blaye certifié biologique, appelé Château Magdeleine Bouhou. Au rez-de-chaussée se trouve également une salle de télévision/salon généreuse et une grande chambre (il y a cinq chambres au total) pouvant accueillir deux lits simples ou un lit double, selon vos besoins. Il y a aussi une grande salle de bain en bas avec une baignoire et une douche en bas, ainsi qu'un petit WC juste à côté de la cuisine/buanderie. La cuisine et la salle à manger à double hauteur au rez-de-chaussée sont bien équipées avec un lave-vaisselle, un réfrigérateur-congélateur et un grand four à gaz avec une plaque de cuisson. Il y a une petite buanderie à côté de la cuisine avec une machine à laver/sèche-linge et un congélateur. Dans la cuisine, il y a une machine à café et un grille-pain ainsi que de nombreux plats, bols et ustensiles supplémentaires pour vous permettre de continuer ! A l'étage se trouvent quatre chambres (trois doubles et une avec deux simples) plus deux salles de bains et un WC séparé pour accueillir confortablement tout le monde. Il y a le chauffage central dans toutes les pièces si nécessaire et un feu ouvert dans la cuisine/salle à manger pour ceux qui visitent pendant les mois les plus froids. Pour les plus jeunes, nous avons un lit pliant pour les bébés si nécessaire, ainsi qu'une chaise haute, des ustensiles de cuisine adaptés aux enfants, un coffre à jouets, un bac à sable et une balançoire extérieure pour les occuper ! Nous sommes à une courte distance en voiture (40-50 minutes) de Bordeaux, St. Emillion et de la belle Gironde. L’ocean est un plus loin à environ 1h15 de Royan, et similaire à Arcachon et Lacanau. Le bac fait la traversée de Blaye au Lamarque régulièrement tous les jours. Soulac-sur-Mer est une jolie ville au bord de la mer à visiter, juste en face de l'embouchure de l'estuaire de Royan. Nous sommes disponibles pour toute demande et sommes très heureux de vous conseiller sur les restaurants et les attractions de la région. Nous pouvons également organiser des dégustations de vins chez nous et ailleurs et éventuellement des visites de châteaux en fonction de la période de l'année (par exemple, il n'est pas si facile de les organiser lors des vendanges fin septembre/octobre). La propriété est entourée de nos propres vignes et tout autour de la zone immédiate il y a des dizaines de vignobles. Il y a beaucoup d'animaux sauvages dans la région et de bonnes pistes et pistes cyclables, dont une piste cyclable pratique pas loin de la maison qui va de Blaye à Etauliers. L'aéroport de Bordeaux est à 55 km, soit entre 50 et 60 minutes de trajet (sauf aux heures de pointe). Un service de train vers Bordeaux centre est accessible à St-André-de-Cubzac qui se trouve à 25 minutes en voiture si vous préférez éviter le trafic routier (l'autoroute commence à St-André-de-Cubzac). Une voiture est certainement utile dans la région pour découvrir ce que la région a à offrir, mais Blaye est à environ 30 minutes à pied ou peut être parcourue à vélo en 15 minutes, plus ou moins. Nous avons quatre vélos pour adultes avec casques et antivols disponibles à la maison plus un vélo pour enfant adapté aux enfants d'environ 5 ans. Il y a un supermarché à quelques minutes à pied et un bon restaurant italien juste en face du vignoble, ce qui est pratique ! Cet été, nous installons une piscine chauffée circulaire de 3m à côté de la terrasse. La piscine est en fait fabriquée par Nadalié, nos fournisseurs de tonneaux, et sera située au-dessus du sol afin que nous puissions apprécier son travail et son lien avec le vignoble et le paysage dans lequel se trouve la propriété. We found the areas of Bordeaux and Blaye convenient, friendly, historic and full of Old World Charm, while escaping the chaos of Paris. The property is well appointed, in excellent repair and offered many outdoor activities perfect for families. The outdoor wine barrel plunge pool was so much fun and bicycles for everyone to explore the vineyard and town. The groceries were 3 minutes away and it all made for a relaxing family holiday in a picturesque setting. The home was perfect for our family consisting of my husband, our three adult daughters and their husbands, my sister and me. The home is well equipped for groups our size. The setting is absolutely beautiful. While on the property you feel secluded, but stores and restaurants are minutes away. We had one mechanical issue which was corrected in less than fifteen minutes. Our children enjoyed the tour of the winery and the wines were wonderful! This is essentially a house attached to a winery. Classic French stone construction With five large bedrooms and three full baths and extra toilets. The setting is beautiful and surrounded by vineyards. It has been completely renovated and is in pristine condition. Naomi was knowledgeable, very helpful and gracious. The property is even nicer than the description and the pictures portray it. If you’re traveling with children there are small bicycles as well as four adult bicycles. There is the recent addition of a plunge pool ( think US wood hot tub 4 times the diameter and depth ) . There is a large supermarket (similar to a US Walmart) approximately two minutes away by car. Drive to Blaye is approximately 5–10 minutes. I would definitely rent and stay again without reservation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ##### john b. Les plus de ce gite : la propreté, la proximité de Blaye et des commerces, le jardin et l’environnement au calme et enfin la mise à disposition de vélos pour les locataires !!La cuisine, les salles de bain sont modernes et super fonctionnelles. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié nos repas sur la terrasse et exposéé au sud, et la possibilité de prendre des vélos neufs pour une promenade à travers la campagne avoisinante (chemin cyclable tout proche). Le vin de la propriété est délicieux. Finalement, les propriétaires sont extrémement serviables et accueillants.
