"Staff was very helpful, clean room, had a large chair to use. Breakfast was good, but I was in a wheelchair,(not good) very rough getting there and back to room. Didn't go the breakfast the next day just to hard."

"The host was kind enough to leave nice treats, beverages, and even wine. She was very responsive. When I did bring a minor concern to her she was gracious, responsive, fair and validating/respectful in every communication. In this day and age I think how a business responds to snags (which are inevitable even if very rare) speaks so loudly to their trustworthiness altogether. The place was exactly as presented in photos. As a repartnered widow it was a special surprise to learn this home was loved by a widow when her husband died shortly after they built the home together. It’s like walking into a castle (6,000 sf), a time capsule, a resort, and your grandmas house all at once. We exchanged a few plant propagations for watering the outside planters mid-week. From the Better Holes & Gardens 1980s collection in the kitchen, to the Brady Bunch-esque step down rooms, the open family-friendly floor plan and almost all bedrooms en suite, lots of sweet touches."

"My host (HEATHER) was absolutely amazing!!; she went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything that we needed PLUS. she brought us a watermelon and popsicles for the grands kids and us I was shocked by her participation in making our stay so wonderful!!! SO IF YOU'RE REASON THIS HEATHER THANK YOU!!!! the lawn could of been mowed would of been great, also I thought that the river was accessable from the home, however it is just a short walk and worth it. Would do it again ANYTIME!!! THANKS HEATHER&VRBO"
