Not far from all amenities and the many activities that the region has to offer, this cottage is the ideal place for a very pleasant stay for two! You will have a beautiful living room with a sofa bed (140x190), an open kitchen, fully equipped, a bedroom, a shower room as well as an outdoor laundry room, a shared pool and a terrace to enjoy sunny afternoons! Private parking space. Bed linen and towels provided. The accommodation is composed as follows: Day area: \- A bright living room with a lounge area equipped with a sofa, a coffee table, a TV and direct access to the garden through a bay window. Reversible air conditioning in the living room. \- A kitchen open to the living room with a raised table with 2 seats and fully equipped: fridge, freezer, oven, induction hob, microwave, toaster, kettle... Night area: \- A bedroom with a Queen-Size bed and cupboards. \- A bathroom with an Italian shower, a washbasin, storage space, a hairdryer and toiletries (shampoo and/or shower gel). \- Separate WC. Outside : \- A laundry room with a drying rack, a washing machine and ironing equipment. \- A fully enclosed garden, not overlooked, facing south-east in a charming park with flowers and trees of centuries-old oaks. \- A wooden terrace with a table, chairs, a parasol, sunbeds and a barbecue to enjoy a meal in a pleasant setting, facing the pool. \- A swimming pool (4x8m, depth 1,25m) secured by a cover, which allows it to maintain a pleasant water temperature from May to October. The use of the pool is subject to favourable weather conditions. It can be shared with the owners, who will however give you priority and occupy it in your absence. Neighbourhood : The cottage is ideally located a few kilometres from Carpentras towards Mont Ventoux Nord, in the countryside. Ideal location for cyclists! It is accessed by a beautiful private driveway in the undergrowth from the road to Caromb (D27). You will find all the necessary amenities in Carpentras: bakery, butcher's shop, mini-markets, shops, restaurants, bars, markets... Nearby: \- Grotte de Thouzon located at 22,6 km (25 min by car). \- Avignon is 30 km (32 min by car) away. \- Gordes 32.6 km (43 min drive). \- Mont Ventoux 36 km (44 min drive) away. 25 minutes from the summit by car. \- Le Sentier des Ocres at 42 km (57 min by car). \- Fontaine-de-Vaucluse 37.6 km (1 hour by car). Then make a diversion to the Carpentras market: classified as an exceptional market for its atmosphere and the quality of its products in a kaleidoscope of colours, floral and fruity scents. From the end of November to the beginning of March, discover the hushed world of the truffle market, which serves as a reference for the whole region. Finally, take advantage of the multitude of activities on offer: horse racing, aerial sports, skate park, tennis courts, bi-cross, water sports stadium... Adored the pool, washing machine, cute kitchen & shady patio (it was extremely hot during our stay!) - great for cyclists exploring the Ventoux area. Found lots of gorgeous, quiet routes nearby. Good location for reaching Bédoin, Beaumes-de-Venise, Les Barroux… Excellent recommendation from Annie for local bakery (short drive away). We felt very secure in the gated plot, including shaded off-road parking. Nous avons pu supporter la chaleur grâce à la piscine et au logement idéalement adapté pour un couple. De plus, les propriétaires sont chaleureux et accueillants. They were very discreet during our stay considering how close there property is and we often had the pool area to ourselves. Carpentras was a lovely town and easy to get to other areas with a car. Le logement correspond en tous points à la description, il est très agréable et parfaitement équipé. L'emplacement est vraiment au calme, loin des nuisances sonores et permet de bien se reposer. La localisation est parfaite pour pour les cyclistes et situé au pied du Ventoux. La piscine est grande et agréable. L'espace extérieur qui nous est réservé est grand et à la fois intime. Die Terrasse lädt zum Frühstücken und Abendessen ein. Der Pool ist wunderbar zum Schwimmen und Abkühlen nach Ausflügen an warmen Tagen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlte. Gezien de oppervlakte is de ruimte precies voldoende voor 2 personen. De keuken is wat krap bemeten en het zitgedeelte bestaat uit een 2-zitsbank. Voldoende als het weer prima is. Wat klein bij langdurig slecht weer. Zwembad werd prima onderhouden, was wat fris, maar heerlijk na lange tochten in +30 graden. ##### Rob v.
