From the layout to the decor to the backyard… I would literally use this home for reference in building my own home. The place was well stocked with cookware, utensils, and even spices. The soaps that were provided smelled so so good and there was plenty of towels for our large group. The hot tub was a nice amenity as well. We were pretty bummed we couldn't use the fire pit outside, but considering everything else was great, it's hardly a concern. It's walking distance to a dog beach, restaurant and gas station. Nice little walking trails too. My only complaint is that there were old pizza boxes still in the oven. The location is perfect, you can walk to the beach in Carnelian Bay, mini golf and Garwoods. The house is very well taken care of and maintained, and it had everything that we needed for 2 families to be comfortable. The backyard is spectacular and a great area to hang out. The tree house and jacuzzi made it even better. Definitely our dream vacation home in a perfect location! Tahoe Getaways communicated very efficiently and everything was very straight forward. Though it's only steps from the beach and restaurants, the house felt like a secluded retreat, with spacious bedrooms and living areas and a fully decked-out kitchen and outdoor grill. Extra credit for the huge back yard with tree house for kids! We stayed over Easter and arrived to a cozy winter wonderland. The warm fire was on awaiting us and the house was nice and clean. The appliances all seemed brand new and the back yard was great for the kids to play in even full of snow. Great distance to enjoy Garwoods and Kings beach for dinners out. ##### Erica E. The location of the home was perfect. Hiking trails, beach and coffee shops all within walking distance. The kitchen was perfect for all of us to hang out, cook or visit on the back porch. The little ones, spent a lot of time in the tree house, they loved the bunk beds and we were grateful for the high chair! Thank you for sharing your home, it worked out perfect for our family. ---
