The living areas in this single-storey lodge consists of an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and a slimline dishwasher, a dining table with seating for six guests and a sitting area with Smart TV and electric fire. The bedrooms consist of a double with TV and en-suite shower room and two twins, along with a shower room. Outside there is a private wrap-around decking with furniture and a washing machine, as well as off-road parking for one car. Within 2.5 miles you will find a shop and a pub and please note that one well-behaved pet is allowed but sorry, no smoking. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Choose Rosie's Zen Den for a relaxing retreat in Cumbria. Note: Travel cot, highchair and stairgate not provided. Note: The washing machine is outside. Please note: Guests are not permitted to charge their electric vehicles from this property. Please note: No Contractors are not permitted on site to stay at the property (this is the Site Rules).

Armathwaite, a charming, unspoiled rural community, is ideally situated for exploring the Lake District, Eden Valley, and the stunning Solway Firth shoreline. The community contains a post office, a local shop, and two historic pubs with popular restaurants providing top-notch food. The village's main thoroughfare, the River Eden, is known for its great salmon fishing as well as for walking, canoeing, and climbing. By the river is Armathwaite Castle, a four-story Pele Tower with beautiful stained glass windows in the church from the fifteenth century. One of Cumbria's best-kept secrets is the Eden Gorge, which is between Lazonby and Armathwaite and is definitely worth investigating. The neighborhood's train station is a stop on the Settle-to-Carlisle Railway, one of Britain's most picturesque rail routes, where numerous antique steam trains still wind through some of the country's most magnificent landscapes. The "biggest grass covered building in the country" is the Rheged Discovery Centre in Penrith. Alternatively, you might like visiting Dalemain Historic House, which was the setting for a Jane Eyre television adaptation.
