Bi-fold doors lead from this stunning open plan living space allowing the ’outside’ in. With direct access to the garden dining al fresco on a fine day is perfect. Chestnuts sits on the edge on the little village of Moorhouse where you can stroll along to the lovely local pub and enjoy a meal or just a drink or two. Close to the border city of Carlisle the perfect location for exploring not only the wonderful Cumbrian countryside but only a short trip over the border into Scotland. Fantastic property. Let down by lack of pans, casserole dishes and general kitchen equipment. Also, a welcome pack of a pack of shortbread biscuits and some tea bags was the worst we have ever had at a holiday cottage. It would have been better not leaving them.
