Dog-Friendly Lakefront Cabin with Dock & Firepit

"Very tidy. The kitchen had everything that we needed. The beds were not the most comfortable. A beautiful spot for sunrises and well protected in the cove and with the island. Well maintained cabin. would stay here again."

"Note this is on the moose river not moosehead lake. Very nice cabin in an area that is accessible to lots of hiking and outdoor recreation. We were able to visit Mt Kineo state park, and Little/Big Moose ponds, and had dinner at the Birches in Rockwood and Greenville. (Did not see a moose on our own! Maybe next time on a guide!)The fire pit area is nice in the trees with water below you. Getting down to the river is a few sets of stairs. A washer and dryer really would have been nice & seems standard for this price when renting a whole house. The towels all had a musty smell either from the well water or being in a closed up cabin without air flow. We made do. Still prefer to do my own laundry before going home. Should have paid more attention to this but that's on me, as the customer service for this space is great and they are very nice people."

"Great water setting for kids with lots of water toys (tubes, kayaks, life vests), we played off the dock a lot. Loved the private cabins but a big central place to eat dinner for a big family reunion. Walking distance to the Kineo island shuttle. Be prepared for a big hill between the cabins and the water."

"So lovely to stay there. Ice coffee every morning on the large deck in the rocking chairs that they provide at the camp. Very quiet and private! Have stayed 2 years in a row now!"

"A great home for our family of 10.5 to enjoy. This home has plenty of rooms and bathrooms for all to be comfortable. The home is settled in a beautiful spot in the bay and we enjoyed some stunning sunsets. Although there are homes nearby the property was very private."

"Second year staying. Absolutely love this property. Lake is pristine and quiet. Location is a short drive to any amenities such as dinning and and local attractions. Definitely not roughing it for a camp. Hope to back again soon."
