Located in the heart of Carentan-les-Marais, close to the port, historic town centre, train station and all local amenities, L’Étoile des Marais is situated on the first floor of a small town building.



Recently renovated by the owners, every detail has been carefully considered to ensure guests’ comfort. The spaces are thoughtfully arranged and tastefully decorated, while the leisure facilities have a few surprises in store.



The entrance opens onto a bright living area with a dining space and a lounge featuring a smart TV, adjoining a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, hob, dishwasher and everything you need to prepare your meals.



A hallway then leads to the bedroom, featuring a comfortable 140 × 190 cm double bed, plenty of storage space and a large dressing room.



Guest Access:

The apartment is entirely private and has its own entrance. You are free to enjoy all the spaces, facilities and amenities throughout your stay.



The Neighborhood:

The apartment enjoys a privileged location in the heart of Carentan, just a few steps from the town’s port, one of its must-see spots. It is easy to reach on foot, allowing you to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the waterfront.



A large square is located just nearby, with several free parking spaces, making arrival and getting around particularly convenient.



All essential shops and services are also within walking distance, including a grocery store, bakery, restaurants and other local businesses. A dedicated guide available in the apartment will also introduce you to our partner businesses, where our guests can enjoy special benefits.



The location is especially unique during the June 6th commemorations. From the apartment, you can see the start of the parades and, from the windows, watch the activity as the celebrations are prepared. For several days, the streets of Carentan take on the atmosphere of a journey back in time, with period uniforms, historic vehicles and numerous events bringing the town to life.



The SNCF train station is also close by, making Carentan an ideal base for exploring the Cotentin area and the many historic D-Day sites, while enjoying the comfort and convenience of staying right in the town centre.
