Step up onto the private terrace, perfect for morning coffee or a slow evening drink, before heading inside, where a small but well-equipped kitchenette provides the essentials for relaxed dining. Beyond, the open-plan living space has been carefully arranged to make the most of its setting, with a double bed, dining area and a wood burner creating a warm and inviting atmosphere whatever the season. A Belfast sink adds a charming, practical touch, while a separate shower room completes the space.
Set within seven and a half acres of arboretum and wild gardens, the Bugail Hut sits in a wonderfully peaceful corner of the Vale of Glamorgan, right beside the historic St Donat’s Castle. Despite its secluded feel, Cardiff is just 25 minutes away, offering the perfect balance of countryside and city. The surrounding Glamorgan Heritage Coast is a haven for walkers and nature lovers alike, with dramatic cliffs, hidden coves and sweeping sea views waiting to be explored.
This stretch of coastline remains one of Wales’ quieter treasures, rich in wildlife and steeped in history and folklore.
