Sheer punishment
Cheap and nasty run-down hotel with neither heart or soul. Some great people however, but that was the only plus point. No balcony, no hot water, wind screamed through window frames. basin blocked for 3 days. It was punishment to stay there.

The view of the beach from the balcony was nice. Our room maid was excellent. The elevators were terrible as they would jam up on floor 6 & 8. The plumbing was terrible, no pressure in shower or sink, leaks on the floor. Food was fair but lacked variety.

You can see they are trying hard to upgrade older facilities but headwinds include many maintenance issues, staff training issues and ongoing wifi restrictions and issues. I must say for the price, this facility is adequate. Ongoing shortages of food items and Wifi restrictions is endemic in Cuba but they cope.

Ad the saying goes .you pay for what you get. Food was non existent,many locals there for the weekend. Only good thing was the beach. Would only recommend this place if you are not picky and the price is fantastic. I would not returned

The front desk were the worst. They just want to sleep. Very unprofessional. First day in the room no yoolet paper. When i asked for toilet paper. Theyball ignored me. I asked for them to all fhe airport because lugggae there.

Very old, dirty hotel, dirty in dining room, noise in room all night from water on the air condition. Bad food, long line waiting for food. Toilet not working. Don't get near this hotel.

My experience in Sun Beach during my Vacation days was terrible . There was no food also you could see the desperation of people looking for food at the buffet table . The Hotel was super dirty , it seemed as if a hurricane had passed through this hotel. I never got into the pool. the water was green. There was just one elevator for a hotel of 9 floors and almost all the time I had to climb 7 floors.You could see long and stressful queues everywhere. I higly recommend to close this hotel until you create conditions to be habitable again . It was a nightmare for me and a waste of money.

Close to beach, everthing else sucked. Food not edible, staff not helpful, no hot water, elevator never worked in 7 days . lots of cockroaches, foul smells (sewage) FOOD WAS DISGUSTING.

The only reason I give this place a 3 is due to the price. We paid about $90 CAD per night for all-inclusive, so I'm assuming this is cheap for Cuba. However, it's still a pretty crappy place. For me, it sort of reminds me of a ghetto. Everything is VERY run down. Very outdated. One of those places where even if it's clean, you wouldn't know because it will look dirty anyway. My wife thought the rooms were clean but still, they are very poor looking. For example, none of our lamps had lightbulbs. Also, watch out for the shower floor. Very slippery. I almost fell and my dad did fall on his hip. The food is okay but again, all the tables are very dirty. I don't think the tablecloths have been cleaned in 30 years. Alcohol is okay but is very limited. Just one draft beer (unknown) and the cheap alcohols like rum and coke. All is served in small plastic cups, requiring many visits or your own water bottle or something. Lots of waste with the plastic but I guess this is the same everywhere perhaps. Sad because it all gets left on the beach too. We didn't go in the pool as it just didn't look the cleanest with plastic cups and plates floating around. Shows in the evening are decent. Snacks in between meals are very poor. Just a bun with a slice of cold cut meat and cheese. That's it. We left early one morning and asked for a packed breakfast. That's what we got. One bun in a tissue. Like everything in Cuba, this place is still overpriced. But is what it is

We read previous reviews and were bracing ourselves. However,the staff were lovely and caring ,the food and drinks were good ,the pool was in good use,the lobby was full of people of lots of nationalities and our favourite the private beach area and beach bar were great. We paid £40 per (3 person) room per night for all inclusive,great value for money in Cuba. The building has seen better days,but don't expect European standards in Cuba unless you have the money to pay for 5 star.Better to pack some towels and extra bedding, As a comparison,we paid £85 per (2 person) room for a supposed 3 star in Havana and there was similarly no bedding protection and the building had also seen better days and to make matters worse the staff were mean spirited. We met Canadians who had come back several times to Sun beach and we would recommend it,the proviso is don't expect European standards in Cuba and don't pay more than what you need to because you'll be disappointed

Sunbeach Hotel
Отличное расположение отеля, мебель в номерах целая, но новизной не отличается, уборка каждый день, чистое пастельное белье, в отеле есть бассейн, но в нем отколота плитка, есть развлекательная анимация, океан рядом, в отеле также есть стойка для заказа экскурсий. В целом неплохой отель за эти деньги.
