Butterfly Beach on North Captiva Island

With 2,000 square feet of fully furnished indoor living space, 1,500 square feet of fully furnished and screen enclosed outdoor living space across 3 levels, 360 degree views of the beach and the inlet from the 4th floor observation deck, and a resort inspired 2,500 square foot privacy-gated pool and jacuzzi deck, you will have room for everyone in your party to relax and enjoy everything that North Captiva has to offer.

Top of the line furnishings, engineered wood floors, custom molded showers and all en-suite baths, are just some of the amenities at Butterfly Beach. A large, fully stocked gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, custom quartz counter tops, breakfast bar and open floor plan will please the gourmet cook. Copper Core Cookware and Stainless Steel Knives, as well as Vitamix Blender, Coffee Makers, Insta-Pot, KitchenAid Mixer, Keurig coffee machine, Immersion Blender, Electric Griddle and many other appliances and tools ensure you can cook all your favorite meals without missing anything.

Four spacious bedrooms, four full baths, complete with 1 king, 2 queens, 4 twins, sleeps up to 10 people very comfortably. Custom décor from local artists and tasteful decorations ensure this island escape feels like home the moment you walk in.

While staying at Butterfly Beach, we invite you to spend your days floating around the private pool with Sun shelf, soaking in the 10 person spa, or sunbathing and playing on the large pool deck. If you are looking for something a little more competitive and active to pass the time, then challenge your friends and family in our Game Room with a 7 foot Pool Table, Tournament Grade Aluminum Ping Pong Table, 9 foot Shuffleboard Table, regulation sized Corn hole boards and Ring Toss Game - the possibilities are endless. Don't worry if your gaming sessions stretch into the evening hours as the entire game room is enclosed in Super Fine mesh screens to make sure your tournaments are not interrupted by unwelcome mosquitos or pests. After your games, lounge around in our large downstairs seating area and spend the night talking, laughing, and enjoying the sounds of the island.

If your adventures take you to the Beach, use our top of the line beach gear to make sure you are never bored. The house has 10 reclining beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, and a host of beach games including Corn Hole, Bocce Ball, Ring Toss, and more. We also have floats, beach toys for the little ones, and coolers to make sure all of your beach adventurers stay well fed and well hydrated.

Also, Included in your Butterfly Beach rental are the use of two golf carts, a large 6-seat model and a 4-seat model, as well as Fishing poles (Reels & Tackle are included), providing multiple ways to experience all of North Captiva Island. Additional Golf carts can be rented separately and the house supports charging for multiple carts.

Use of the North Captiva Island Club is not included, but can be access via separate request and payment. The Club includes 2 swimming pools, Olympic size heated and cooled and lap size heated, a hot tub, 2 Har-Tru tennis/Pickleball courts, basketball hoop, children's playground and free use of kayaks and bikes. The Club also has additional paddle boards, fishing gear and boats for rent.

On the island there are four restaurants: Mango's Island Grill, The Boathouse, Mainstay and Over the Waterfront. We provide all of our renters with detailed instructions for Travel, Food Services, and Reservations for each of the restaurants.

The rental comes complete with all linens and towels, bath and beach, paper towels, toilet paper, soaps; dish, laundry and bath. We limit rentals to family groups, couples and responsible adults over the age of 25. Dogs are welcome with a PER PET FEE. No smoking and no cats or exotic animals please.

In case you were wondering about the island, North Captiva is part of the Charlotte Harbor chain, north of Sanibel and Captiva, approximately four miles long and 1/2 mile wide. White sand beaches, shelling and world-class fishing are just some of the treasures this island has to offer. Nature abounds here with regular sightings of dolphins and manatees from the beaches. The 700 acre State Land Preserve provides a sanctuary for many migratory and nesting birds, and even American Bald Eagles.

From Fort Myers Airport a private shuttle service is available to bring you grocery shopping and deliver you to the ferry. The ferry is approximately 25 minutes. Upon arrival you will be greeted, introduced to the island and taken to our home.
