Cozy quirky cottage Constantia

The Cozy Quirky cottage is a free standing cottage which is situated in the garden of our property, it is safe and secure with parking next to the cottage. Why Cozy Quirky? The Cozy aspect is the sizing; everything needed fits into this this space. If you have read the reviews it works well, resulting in the Cozy. The Quirky - just a little - the double bed mattress rests on a futon which is on a built in raised wooden platform. This platform is just a a step up from the rest of the room and gives the open plan interior a feeling of space. The other quirky aspect is the bathroom area; this is behind a dividing wall, we have included photos of this area which makes it easier to see than explain! The double bed platform area is divided from the rest of the area by a wooden unit which can be used for hanging and storage. There is a small dining area with table and chairs. The cottage is fully equipped and has microwave, electric frying pan, small double hot plate,toaster, kettle and medium size fridge. There is complimentary WiFi. The outside courtyard has a braai and seating area.

We have lived in this home for over 35 years and love the area! We have more than enough space to share with others and hope they will enjoy the area and space as much as we do. We live in the main house on the property and are on hand to assist with local info and recommendations.

The neighborhood is quiet and secure. We are within walking distance of Constantia Village where one can shop in luxurious shops, or pop up for breakfast or leisurely lunch . We are situated within close proximity to beautiful wine estates where one can spend the day sampling their finest wines and enjoying food and looking around the estates. Many have original Cape Homesteads which are open to view, they have interesting historical furnishings and décor. The Alphen Trail, among other green belt walks, is close by, this is a beautiful area to hike with lovely views of the mountains. We are also close to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, the Boomslang Tree top canopy walk way is an experience not to be missed. During holiday season they offer sunset concerts where you can take along a picnic basket, watch the sun go down and enjoy local live music. Newlands Cricket stadium is within easy access for sports lovers. Uber services offer excellent deals on their tariffs during the sports season. Mountain bike trails easy access. There are numerous restaurants in the area, from local family restaurants to fine dining, you will be spoilt for choice.
