"Days Inn is an affordable, no frills place to stay in Westminster. It could use some upgrades but is clean and comfortable. I am a repeat visitor to this hotel for those reasons."

"I was disappointed with the hotel. It looked like it had seen better days. The halls had old food odors, the parking lot did not have lines to see where to park and I didn't realize I was being charged $5 to park there. It also costs extra to get breakfast and they have bottled water for sale in the rooms for $7 a bottle. It really felt like I was being nickeled and dimed. Last time I stayed in the area, I went to Embassy Suites and that was a much better experience than this."
"No cleaning service until day 3 & that’s after asking for housekeeping to come in. Was told initially that they didn’t have housekeeping. Had to ask for towels & soap. Broken lock on door & a/c wouldn’t stay cold."
"A great spot to stay in Gettysburg. Walkable to the center of town and short drive to the visitor center and other battlefield points. A decent buffet breakfast with several option which is included. Clean and comfortable."
"Very disappointed with my stay. I booked a king corner suite well in advance for my son’s prom night and paid over $500. I called ahead and was approved for early check-in, and I arrived two hours before the standard 4 PM check-in. Even arriving that early, I was told the hotel had overbooked and was “upgrading” me to a standard room with two queen beds — a room that normally goes for under $200. If they were already overbooked at 2 PM, how many people were allowed to check in early ahead of guests like me who reserved a premium suite in advance?
When I asked to see the room first, the manager (I believe his name was Josh) told me he’d have to release my reservation and couldn’t guarantee it would still be available when I came back, leaving me with no real choice. The “upgrade” amounted to access to snacks like granola bars, which was useless to us since we were only there to get ready for prom. Several other families in the lobby were experiencing the same thing, and I overheard that a family with a connection to staff received an actual suite. When I followed up with management the next day, the response was dismissive and I was told to call corporate.
The property itself was clean, and I appreciated that. But paying premium prices for a downgraded room and being met with a rude, unhelpful manager is unacceptable. I will be contacting corporate."
"Lots of parking, easy to get to. Rooms were big and beds were comfortable. The kids loved the pool. The diner in front was great and an easy 2 minute walk."
"After driving for 16 hours and booking 3 rooms, we were told the rooms weren’t ready despite the check in time being 4:00 p.m. The front desk staff, an Indian man, advised that the rooms were not clean and it would be a wait. He could not tell us how long the wait would be and did not seem to care that we paid for rooms that should’ve been ready at 4:00 p.m. We were then told it was “first come, first serve” as other people were checking in and being given keys to their room. So we went back to the front desk and was asked to take a room with a queen bed that was ready, one king bed (we did book this) and that we still needed to wait for another room to be available. Mind you, this is now all happening around 4:20 p.m. To make matters worse, the desk agent advised that us since we purchased the rooms on Expedia, to get a cheaper rate, we can’t pick the beds we need. Rather, we have to take what’s available. I told him that the rooms costs the same on the Hilton website as it did on Expedia and it was only booked through Expedia since I have VIP status with them. I also made him aware that both my husband and I were also Hilton members and we proceeded to show him proof. Regardless of how we booked the rooms, they were paid for in full and shouldn’t have been made to feel they were free or that the hotel was doing us a favor. Needless to say; when we finally got into the room, they didn’t seem clean. There was dust everywhere, hair on the pillows and one room smelled like pee."
"Broken Hot Tub, I was told by staff it had been broke for months and no plans to fix it,broke elevator, room not ready at 4 PM. Didn't get room until 5:30. No non-alcoholic beer. No mixer for a Bloody Mary. Broken toilet paper hanger. Went to front desk and put in a request for a 4:45 AM wakeup. NO WAKEUP!!
GOOD STUFF: friendly staff, streaming TVs, good internet, good location, comfortable bed, dog friendly.
We left the Embassy Suites in Hunt Valley Maryland and went to the Embassy Suites in Charleston Historic District. My wife and I will stay at the Hunt Valley Embassy again we will not stay at the Embassy Suites in historic Charleston it was not worth the money. They could take a lesson from Hunt Valley!!"
