Ballina Beach Nature Resort
The aircon works well, bed is comfortable and is in a good location. The ferry trip over was not mentioned in the booking. There are extremely limited food options. Being self sufficient is required as limited cafe hours and no nearby food options. The location is worth it though.

Elements of Byron
Do not book the Studio room! Upgrade to the Villa or don’t stay here. The Studio rooms are barely bigger than a prison cell and are nowhere near 5 star hotel quality. The property is neat and the staff are so nice. Just don’t book the Studio rooms.

Byron Central Apartments
I stayed in a studio room for three nights. Note - not all studio rooms are the same! My first night was in room 1, which is unique in having no privacy - the screen door directly faces a high traffic area next to stairs to the upper level - I had to have the curtains closed when I was in the room ...
