Enjoy stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, Cape Breton\`s rugged coastline and crimson sunsets from every room. The spacious well-equipped kitchen is a comfy spot to cook and entertain, while the west-facing sundeck and the cliff-side lookout are incredible places to relax over morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Amenities include a full-size kitchen with stainless steel appliances and island, Wi-Fi, SMART TV, satellite cable, two bathrooms, air conditioning, BBQ, sundeck, deck chairs, cliff-side lookout area and an outlet for fast EV-charging. Location-wise, our home makes for a great home base for hiking in Cape Breton National Park, touring the Cabot Trail or golfing at nearby Le Portage or Cabot Cliffs, which is just 30 minutes away to the south. Please note the following before booking: 1\. HOUSE RULES: No pets, parties, events, smoking, fires or cooking fish, shellfish or other strong-odor foods indoors is permitted. Quiet time begins at 10 pm. 2\. AGE RESTRICTION: For safety and other reasons, children must be 8 years or older to stay 3\. HOME SHARING -- We are happy to host a family of up to 6 guests or 2 couples, but the property may not be shared by more than 4 adults without manager approval. Extra guest fees apply for 5th and 6th guest. 4\. GUEST SAFETY / RISKS - Guests agree to be responsible for their own safety near the cliff as a fall could result in serious injury or death. 5\. There is also a genealogy resource center. 6\. Hike to the swimming hole at the Cheticamp Gypsum quarry. This is a short hike on an established trail/ ATV track that leads you to a beautiful, secret swimming spot near Cheticamp. 7\. This is an absolutely amazing property. The views are spectacular!! The house was set up perfectly for my group (all of us over sixty), as there no stairs to navigate aside from a couple of entry steps to the house. Every bedroom has an amazing view so no one feels left out. As matter of fact every room in the house has a million dollar view. The property was clean, well stocked, and the host was just the right amount of communicative. He touched base with us mid way through the stay to make sure all was well but was never intrusive. Make sure you leave a day to just hang on the deck with your beverage of choice, the deck faces the sun all afternoon and provides an amazing place to watch the sun set.
