Breakfast was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Decor was interesting. Bathroom in the first room we were in was so small that I could not turn around in it, also had mild. Good access to the beach

he hotel is tired and due to be refurbished. This is made clear. The design can best be described as quirky. We arrive late and go to a standard room. No space to unpack, no wardrobe, but unusual room. No water due to plumbing failure next door. Excellent helpful staff immediately upgrade us to an executive room. But no coffee, no water, toilet and shower inside the room which can make the air "rich". Still no wardrobe or space to unpack Rooftop pool area is an absolute delight. Staff really nice and helpful. I really want to go back - after the refurb!!!

Close to several good cafes.
Nice hotel, definitely a different experience. Loved the access to our private balcony, and the location of the hotel. They do not provide water in your room, and barely change your towels though unless you ask. Not very many electrical outlets in our room for the size of the room. Private beach access about a couple blocks away, but you have to pay for the chairs.

Only one light worked in room.
The two lady receptionists were very nice and friendly. however my room was very disappointing. Design wise, I knew what I was getting into... quirky design for small rooms... I anticipated that. However, none of the lights in the room worked except for one. The main switch to all the lights is broken and they couldn't fix it. My room was pitch dark. The staff try very hard, but the hotel owner must invest in maintenance. Dissappointing stay.

Great experience
Location is okay, not great. But everything else - the wifi, the bed, the balcony, the rooftop pool, the tub, the private beach access (though fair warning, they charge you to use, but in my opinion it was worth it) was great.

Staff Excellent
We fully enjoyed our stay st the Spity hotel this weekend. The staff is attentive and helpful and makes a big difference and we really felt welcome back and genuinely looked after. The hotel is now somewhat dated and needs to be refurbished. However, the price currently charged is relatively low and thanks to the etc friendly and nice staff the value for the price paid is good.

good hotel not far from beach
was not was i was expecting as room had glass toilet and shower - but managed to get moved as toilet was up 6 steps in room with glass walls and i have vertigo- so hotel staff very good. so after all had good room and experience

awful hotel do not book here
bad service received, paid premium for room but false advertising as extra charges for sunloungers 17 euro per person daily, no free water, roof bar has no atmosphere, too far from old town, rooms are clinical and needs refurb, mould in shower windows, we complained and got nothing, never had such a terrible experience so please book elsewhere. also rooms not soundproof. only good thing is some staff are genuinely nice shame management are not. and breakfast is decent too.

An excellent stay in this modern boutique hotel - convivial atmosphere, wonderful service, comfortable and a great location with a super roof-top terrace and plunge pool with panoramic views of the whole of Nice! Perfect for a long weekend break!

Great location but hotel a bit arty
Service, cleanliness, WIFI & location were very good. Loved the private beach. Room was a bit unique with bath in middle of bedroom and a rather arty feel. A bit impractical. Only 2 power points, 1 of which was for the TV.

Funky hotel Nice
Hotel needs a bit of an update, they mentioned free bottled water , but actually it is one bottle on arrival so a bit disappointing, they private beach is a bit of a walk from the hotel and is 17 euro for a bed and towel Beach restaurant is very nice but very expensive

i stayed for 2 nights and found the location for old town, promenade and train station was excellent would not hesitate to stay again. The rooms are different but added to the short stay and very clean. The roof top pool and views of Nice were excellent.

The room was excellent the stairs that lead to the private balcony were neat. Quiet and clean. Only complaint was no sauna and steam room was interesting. Breakfast was very poor. Get better service at kyriad or ibis. But other than that the stay was pleasant.

Great hotel - only for couples, NO PRIVATE BEACH
The hotel was great, pretty and a really nice option for a romantic holiday in Nice. However, two things need to be taken into account: 1. The beach is a normal beach - it's not a private beach and in order to stay there you need to pay 15 EUR per person - this is bit of a scum. 2. There are no restroom or showers for people who checked out and want to have a shower before their flight. 3.The showers in the rooms are in the middle of the room - i.e it's not suitable for friends' holiday. It is very awkward to take a shower.

Nice hotel close to the Promenade des Anglais
Original room decoration/setup, very nice and helpful staff. Nice breakfast area. However, the rooms are overall very small and there is no separation between the bed part and the bathroom. Once you have opened your suitcase, there is not much room left. Also no real desk to put your laptop and work if you have to or check your emails. We stayed only one night, so it was OK. However for several nights, this could be an issue.

Lovely hotel in great location. Made good use of the roof top pool and terrace which had amazing 360 degree views of Nice. Very clean and modern. Only downside was lack of privacy in room as I was travelling with a friend and there was no separate bathroom, great for couples though! There's an amazing patisserie just around the corner towards the seafront that I would wholly recommend as it was amazing and good value for money.

Weird and worn hotel
We saw pictures of our room which looked modern and edgy. However the room was not as pictured. It was worn, patches of paint were mismatched on the walls with random fixtures on the walls. Our coffee maker did not work. The maid only made the bed and left new towels, our floors was dusty.

What a treat!
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in Nice before crossing to Corsica and then returned for one night before flying home. The hotel is lovely, staff are very helpful and each room is a different concept but the two we stayed in were lovely....quality of the beds, bedlinen and towels were luxurious and shame we didn't have time to try out all the technology. The roof top terrace with pool is a tranquil haven both day and night and a lovely place to relax away from the city. We would definately stay again....... The hotel is very central with easy access to the old town, shopping and the famous avenue des anglais.. 30 Euros by taxi from airport to the hotel and 40 minute walk to the port (or 10 min taxi) Loved it!

Nice hotel but needs some maintenance
No evening dining in hotel, spa closed, overpriced breakfast and you get nickel and dimes for everything. Very cool and hip hotel but needs some maintenance. Lots of scratches in the paint, cracked baseboards and the white on white room shows every stain from every spilt red wine and coffee. Our room was never replenished with tea and coffee or supplies. Only plastic cups in the room which melt if you use for the coffee. Additionally no place to sit and relax other than the bed itself. Rooftop pool is very cool with great view and perfect temperature but needed some cleaning on the sides. Welcoming staff and very comfortable for a family and LBGT friendly.

Loved the rooftop pool, staff really helpful and friendly. Some of the decoration and furnishings were worse for wear such as the upholstery on the chair in our room that was very stained. The general look and design of the hotel was great though. Easy walking distance from hotel to busier areas with more choice of restaurants etc. Felt the hotels private beach facilities were a bit expensive at14€ a half day. All in all had a really lovely time and wished we could of stayed longer.

Room very small with no dressers to put your clothes with a Big bath tub that takes up too much space in a limited area. Staff very friendly and helpful plus speak english. Cabs are very overpriced so take the train if possible.

One of the three shutters in the room did not work and as hotel was full we couldn't be moved to an alternative room that night. The receptionist however was very helpful and very apologetic we were given free wine and beer (our choice) for the inconvenience.

Loved it!
The staff was professional and kind. The atmosphere was chic. The location was amazing. Few blocks away from the beach. They have their own private beach in which tou could rent umbrella and beach chair. Bearby is also Old Nice which is the center of nightlife and redtaurants.

Modern take on the Standard Hotel
Booked this hotel as it looked a little different than the normal 4 stars hotels that I would usually choose. I really liked the style and décor of this hotel and it was a refreshing change. On checking in, we were offered a welcome drink by the very friendly staff, we were also allowed to check in a few hours early as they had the room ready. I had booked an indoor terrace room, which was spacious and comfortable with an excellent bed which ensured a perfect sleep. The large shower unit, was open plan, which wouldn’t be to everyone’s liking, WC was in its own cubicle. We were well aware of the style of the room as we had done our research beforehand, so the room didn’t disappoint. Staff during our 3 night stay were always very accommodating and extremely friendly so no issues there what so ever. Location is good, just a few minutes’ walk to Promenade des Anglais and about 20 minute walk to the buzz of Nice town centre. Plenty of cafés around the area for breakfast and a few large supermarkets close by. The only small negative we had were the toiletries and coffee and cream were not replenished during our 3 night stay, but reception were willing to provide extra when asked. Also there are little storage for belongings and plug sockets in the room, but it is style over substance in a few areas, so I didn’t mind so much. I would recommend this hotel but you need to be comfortable with the showering arrangements and I would have no problems making another reservation just to experience another themed room.

The hotel is in a good location, easy walking distance to everything Nice has to offer. There were just a few issues which may be related to it being off season. The pool looked as though it had not been cleaned for a while. No drinks available even though it stated that there were drinks machines on floor 2/4/6 so be prepared to buy in from a supermarket as there's no bar either. The room was really hot on arrival for first 24 hours, I mentioned this to reception and they just left the balcony doors open, apparently there's only heating available, not air con, at this time of year. The Hi Beach access wasn't available but this is probably another off season issue. Otherwise, the staff were helpful and welcoming, the rooms were clean and tidy and it was nice and quiet.

Great location! staff extremely helpful always meeting our needs and paying attention to our requests . a complete and healthy breakfast , pastries could have been fresher . rented some great bikes from a shop nearby where the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly more hooks needed in rooms for hanging bath towels should be able to control the shutters
