Summary: Stunning penthouse apartment with panoramic mountain views, a rooftop deck and private hot tub. This huge 2000 sq ft property is luxuriously appointed with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Relax by the fireplace, enjoy the private hot tub or hotel pool, and luxuriate with 5 \* hotel linens and towels, complimentary local Rocky Mountain Soap Co bath products, and fresh local Eclipse coffee! Private high speed internet and a dedicated workspace should you need it. 10 minute walk to downtown Canmore! The Space: Located 15 minutes from Banff and approximately one hour from Calgary, this home away from home comes with a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely South-facing covered patio to enjoy a glass of wine or early morning coffee, and the fresh mountain air. Wood floors, granite countertops, gas fireplace and high end furnishings complete the luxury feeling. The bed and bath linens are 5-star hotel quality, and professionally laundered. The condo has private high-speed internet so you can enjoy all your personal streaming channels. We love where we live, and we love to share it with guests, so when you stay with us we welcome you properly, with added touches such as freshly roasted local coffee and locally made, 100% natural Rocky Mountain Soap bath and body products. The entire apartment is kept clean using only eco-friendly cleaning products (no nasty chemicals here!). The apartment is on two levels and is best suited for families or groups of friends in 3 spacious, well appointed bedrooms. The upstairs master suite has a huge bathroom with a soaker tub. Also on this level is the rooftop deck and hot tub, with seating for the whole tribe. On the main floor is the kitchen, bathroom with combined tub/shower, living room, dining room (seats 8) and two spacious bedrooms (one with king bed, one with two queen beds). Grand Rockies Resort amenities offer a pool, waterslide and communal hot tubs to relax in after a day of adventure, and if you want to work off dinner, there is a small but functional gym on the 3rd floor. If you don't fancy cooking there's a great restaurant on site, and a couple more within a 5 minute walk. Our summer calendar fills fast so we recommend you book early or send us a message if you have any unanswered questions. If you are traveling on a budget, we are always ready to strike a deal in the quiet season! Our goal is to provide a great mountain experience for great people, so get in touch if you’d like to discuss details of your holiday with us direct. Guest Access: Guests have access to the entire apartment, and it is not shared with anyone else. Guests may also use the two child friendly pools and shared indoor/outdoor hot tubs on the main level, plus the restaurant/bar. The Neighborhood: Grande Rockies Resort is conveniently located near the highway, allowing a quick arrival and exit to your adventures in the national park and surrounding areas. Blake Restaurant is literally next door, and the best coffee shop in town (Eclipse Coffee) is across the street. There's also a small retail area 2 minutes walk away (Shops of Canmore) and our beautiful downtown is just a 10 minute walk. Getting Around: Canmore is small and easy to get around on foot, by car or by public transit. There is public transportation around Canmore, and to/from Banff. Information about Canmore Roam Transit timetables are provided in the condo. Other Things to Note: There are internal stairs in this property. Pool maintenance: On January 12th through January 14th the annual pool slide maintenance, hot tub and wading pool will commence. It is estimated it will take three days to complete all maintenance. January 12 and 13th the pool will be drained and closed. The hot tub and wading pool will remain open during this time. January 14th the wading pool closed from 8 am to 12:00 pm for maintenance. The pool and hot tub will be open. Interaction with Guests: We are professional vacation managers who live in town and will happily offer as much or as little support as you need during your stay. The condo was very spacious, bright, clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. There is a restaurant on the main floor, however, we cooked and barbequed in the condo as the space has a relaxing and comfortable feeling to it. One great feature was the private hot tub that is located on the patio on the top floor of the condo. After a long hike, we soaked our tired bodies in the hot tub sipping a drink while enjoying the mountain views. I would not hesitate to book here again. Our host Jane Hooper with FairShare Vacation Rental Management contacted us three times through email to make sure that everything was ok and to let her know if there were any issues. This place is perfect for families or larger groups. Very comfortable beds, and all 3 bedrooms are huge if you need to set up an air mattress. Tons of storage and dresser space. Lovely large bathrooms, bright kitchen full of dishes, glassware, serving bowls etc - and still plenty of room to store your food and snacks. Impeccably clean. Great view to the east, and the pristine hot tub on the deck was a lovely way to enjoy coffee watching the sun come up and cocktails watching the stars. Very easy access to unit from parkade elevator. We took games but didn’t need to as it’s stocked with board games, crib board, puzzles etc. Very fast response time to any questions I had. Can’t recommend this lovely condo enough! Only note: master opens to living room, which gives a lovely view and can be blocked with a sliding barn door. But if you have little kids/early risers downstairs, there won’t be much sleeping in happening upstairs - the floor fan in the bedroom can help, but if you will have light sleepers in the master I’d recommend bringing a white noise machine or earplugs. We didn’t make it to the pool this time, but have in the past and it’s a great pool/hot tub. Overall a fantastic place to stay in Canmore!! ##### Celia B. Massive space, great for a family. We traveled with our family from Hawaii to this gorgeous and spacious condo as a home base for exploring Banff. The private rooftop hot tub post ski sessions was absolute heaven.
