There is a walking path and a bike path right outside the building which I thought was really nice. There are restaurants, convenience store, pharmacies and many other amenities within walking distance. There is a restaurant in the building off of the lobby. You can run down for a quick meal if you’re not in a mood to cook. It is located about 20 minutes drive from the town of Banff. The town itself is not buzzing with tourists unlike Banff and Jasper. Great bars and restaurants nearby. Easy drive to Banff. Everyone enjoyed having their own bedroom and bathroom. The check in and check out was easy. The owner provided detailed information. This property has everything one would want in a vacation property. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom with TVs and gas fireplaces. The common room was huge. The kitchen was fabulous with a countertop where you could have breakfast. The balcony was particularly wonderful as it had a great view of the mountains. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Canmore. It was only 10 miles from Banff, which is much more crowded. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. ##### Eve A.
