"To my surprise this hotel had no elevator.....The first room that I was assigned was had a non working deadbolt. I called the front desk immediately and about 10 minutes later I was moved across the hall. The top sheet on both beds had what looked like oil stains (may have been clean...idk) the carpet was horrible in many spots. I had a container of wipes and wiped eeeevery thing (more than I usually would). The tube could use soft scrub or something and there were dirty hand prints on the walls entering both sides of the shower! Maybe there was a construction guy in there recently....I took pictures because I was grossed out! I felt better after I used most of the wipes and asking for another room?? Why? This hotel was just dirty...even the hall hall/stair carpet was dirty and damaged. I had to scurry out each day and was literally gone from 9am -9pm and I don't allow room service in my stays. Glad I had a pillow and a sheet in my truck. (I don't normally but glad I thought to to bring SOMETHING! With all of this, I decided not to eat from the light selection of food....I had yogurt and only on day 1 of the 3.
Due to the uncleanness, I decided to have a yogurt only from the breakfast (day 2 only)"
"I checked in on Friday, May 8th, and immediately inspected the room and bed. The sheets were absolutely disgusting and clearly had not been properly cleaned. I notified the front desk right away, but I was told housekeeping was unavailable at the time. I also asked to speak with a manager, but no manager was on site.
I requested a different room because the condition of the bed was unacceptable, but my request was denied. I was extremely upset, especially since I was in town for a college graduation and expected a clean, comfortable stay.
Eventually, the sheets were changed, but the entire experience was frustrating and disappointing. I will never stay at this location again, and I will be contacting corporate regarding this issue."
