Good location in city centre and the staff are friendly. But a little bit dirty and the place stinks. Staff are friendly. Also no towel provided and there are no shampoo, soap or anything in the bathroom. Essentially you have to bring everything on your own. Also no power socket near the bed. I still don’t know where it is in the room but definitely cannot charge your phone near you when you sleep. Hostels in Sydney would provide you more with this same price.

Linen was a doona (in summer), air-conditioning was poor and the parking was difficult to find. Staff were very friendly and helpfulk.

We arrived not expecting much and were not disappointed in that. On the positive side, in a family room we did have an ensuite which was in good order and the room clean. We just needed a stop over and the beds were comfy so needs met. Inexpensive - another plus for a place to sleep the night. Some activities onsite also a positive and staff great. On the down side the general toilet was a disaster for the blokes, only one functioning receptacle. Parking also a challenge, yet more positive overall than negative.

My first time in hostel. I stayed in 4 bed dorm, first night was on my own and second night with 2 other ladies. I did have reservations about staying but on the whole it was great. The area outside was quite noisy due to being on main road and could have been kept cleaner but would definitely stay again

Not the best place. There was nowhere to get drinking water on my floor, so I had to go to the floor below. This in turn made it pointless to have a kettle for boiling water in my room, and the only powerpoint was away from everything. There were also no towels, so showering was awkward.

Stayed here as a solo traveller on more than one occasion. Easy check in process and the use of Goki app makes things feel a bit more secure. All the staff throughout all my stays here have been friendly and really helpful. Reception staff and the lovely cleaners too. Stayed in 4 bed dorm (women only) on all the stays. Locker provided in room (you just need a lock which I had anyway) they also have plenty of other locker storage throughout the hostel if needed. Rooms were clean aside from one which was not as a result of the staffs cleaning but the grim resident within it. Electric sockets in room but potentially could do with more just to accommodate multiple devices needing to be charged by different people. Toilets and showers were clean, no issues with these at all. Kitchen area downstairs kitted out with cookers, fridges, microwaves and seating area. Upstairs has a common room and decking area outside. Some general seating areas on each floor too. Great location, very close to Canberra Centre and loads of restaurants, cafes and bars surrounding the hostel. Would definitely come back here again, thank you.

The family rooms are lovely yes basic but that is all we required. The staff were helpful, the key app great as we could both have it logged on our phones and didn't risk forgetting to return keys

Kitchen was a bit messy but it isn’t their fault as some people are just gross and can’t clean up after themselves. But I loved the sensation of clean and fresh bed sheets after my shower. I got the 10 mixed room but it was quiet and spacious. Lots of light during the day.
