The unit is on an upper floor with easy access by lift. There is free off-street parking available at The ForeShore, as well as your own designated parking spot within the complex. Parking access instructions will be provided one your booking is confirmed. Everything you require is contained in the unit. (All you need to bring is what you are going to eat and drink.) The ForeShore is in a great location handy to galleries, restaurants, walks, bike tracks, markets and Lake Burley Griffin of which you have glimpses from your private balcony. It sits just opposite the Kingston Foreshore which has plenty of drinking and dining options suited to whatever you're in the mood for. It's got casual burgers and beers, Thai, Chinese, Italian, Indian, a Max Brenner, and plenty of bars so you can wash it all down. The lack of wifi could have been a problem as Optus has poor coverage in the apartment, but as it was a long weekend didn't need to fire up the laptop for work, so not a problem in the end.
