Convenient and comfortable place to stay

Posted 27-Apr-2016
Pros: Location and comfort were very good for our short stay.
Location: The view from the top of Mt Ainslie was amazing at night. The boat trip on Lake Burley Griffin was funny and informative.
Comfortable, clean room with plenty of space. Breakfast included in rate was good to get you started in the morning. Close to all Canberra landmarks and staff were pleasant and helpful.

decent accommodation, specially for families.

Posted 15-Apr-2016
Pros: decent sized place, free breakfast, good for families
Cons: parking is horrid. wireless access can be much better, too many drop outs and not fast enough.
stayed 2 nights at this hotel and the facilities were pleasing and comfortable. the breakfast was good, there was pool to use if we wanted to. struggled to find parking within the premises and had to park off road. a bit far from capital hill and the tourist places. no good places to eat near by. the WiFi didn't work one night, there was no reception after 10, next day they gave me a WiFi access code. the access points were not well placed and i experienced drop outs frequently.

Good, quiet motel. Easy to find.

Posted 15-Apr-2016
Pros: quiet clean and tidy. Helpful staff.
Cons: I was happy with everything!
Location: Easy to drive to DFO, Art Gallery, Portrait Gallery and just over the bridge to the National Museum AND of course the Old Bus Depot Markets!
Had a great night. It was quiet and it was easy to find places to go to from there!

Friendly hotel

Posted 06-Apr-2016
Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Seeing people's above comments regarding shower made me lol. Yes it does get a Little bit of water on the floor but there is a drain right in the middle. Got more than I payed for. By no means it's not a 5 star but for the price would happily stay there over and over again.

Fairly priced hotel, close to city for business

Posted 11-Mar-2016
Pros: It is conveniently situated
Cons: Maybe update old items such as broken clock radios.
Location: Not sure, I was on a business trip
I stayed in the main hotel on previous trips which was much more pleasant than staying in the superior room. I was told that I had been upgraded to the superior room due to over booking, my room(103) had a light shining through the window due to no blocking out curtain and also the radio was broken, its front face was lying next to the main part of the radio. I have never come across this sort of issue before, how can a hotel staff member leave a radio in 2 pieces and no use to anyone. I suggest get block out cutrains and fix small things like broken radios.
