Top Canada - New England Hotel Reviews
Seaport Hotel Boston
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel in an excellent, walkable location. "
HFX Airport Hotel
8/10 Good
"I heard that the hotel is currently undergoing some renovations, which I believe will help improve the overall guest experience. The hotel is quite old, and some of the amenities, especially the towels, are noticeably worn out. The towels were quite old, discolored, and looked like they had seen better days. Overall, though, the stay was okay. The biggest advantage is its convenient location, especially being close to the airport."
The Barrington Hotel
8/10 Good
"I like the location of the property, close to the harbour, shops and attractions. The unit is clean but because it’s old you can smell the Old rustic smell mostly in the bathroom. Overall we had a great experience."
Delta Hotels by Marriott™ Halifax Downtown
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel was pretty great. It was priced well compared to near by hotels and modern. The location was fantastic if you wanted to walk and there was a parkade right next door that you could connect to the hotel with. There were plenty of dining options near by and you could walk down to the Halifax waterfront within about 5 or 10 minutes. The hotel had a Starbucks in the front lobby and a restaurant on site too that we did not visit but there were always lots of guests there enjoying the TVs and atmosphere. I am not sure there is a better option to stay in downtown Halifax given the location unless you are looking to spend a fortune which we were not."
Holiday Inn St. John's Conference Centre by IHG
8/10 Good
"internet is a bit glitchy, staff are very helpful. housekeeping is a bit slow and inconsistent"
