Wonderful cabin in the most beautiful, private setting! We love everything about it from hiking the trails to just getting away from it all to relax. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
Wonderfully quiet location. Perfect peaceful location for a wonderful weekend getaway. Close enough to everything we wanted to do. Lots of hiking and great food.
The location is great, being pretty close to Red River Gorge, but also remote enough to have our own space to relax. Our kids loved exploring the acreage and playing on the tire swing. Everything was very clean and beds were comfortable. It was well equipped with everything we needed. The view was also beautiful. Thank you for a great stay!
My family and I had a wonderful time relaxing and reconnecting at this cozy cabin in the mountains! It is close enough to all the features at Red River Gorge, yet well off of the beaten path. The host, Patrick was very responsive and even helped us book an additional night. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone.
We came from Cincinnati and stayed two nights. The cabin is very nice and clean. The property is beautiful and very quiet. The internet was fast, so connectivity was not a problem. The listing showed 1.5 bathrooms, but there is only 1 bathroom. I would stay here again!
We decided to get away from it all for Thanksgiving and the cabin was perfect! The 150 acres of seclusion are amazing! The cabin is well stocked with kitchen items. I don’t need to even bring all that I did. The cabin was the perfect place to have our own little thanksgiving and to watch football during this cold weekend! The trails were beautiful, as were the surrounding woods. Great property! We will definitely want to stay here again!
My partner and I enjoyed a few nights away in the gorge area here at this lovely cabin! The property had everything we needed to relax with a comfortable bed and a big shower. Grill on site was fantastic and the views off the back deck on a clear night were incredible. Firepit was just a few steps from the front door and fantastic as well. Would recommend any visitors who want to be able to cozy up to any movie to bring a streaming device (Fire stick, roku, etc) as the internet service was very good for being so remote! Only negative was the dry sauna appeared to be going through repair and was not available for us after spending the day hiking.

150 acres of pure serenity!!
The Property this cottage is on is so peaceful, beautiful, and very secluded! No one around. The cottage was rustic and comfortable. Clean!
The down sides are the outside property really could use some TLC, cleaning and straightening up from debris on the property and yard. Also some things were not available as advertised. There’s a Sauna but it’s not available for use. The only bikes were two small children’s bikes. There’s a barn made into a game room, but it not accessible either because the field is overgrown and you couldn’t get to it. Or be covered in chiggers, or ticks if you tried, way over waist high. Hopefully they will get to these things or change their advertising.
If your just looking for peace, quiet, and a beautiful scenery. then this place is for you! Would absolutely stay again!!
Wonderful cabin and experience!! This is our second booking and we were impressed both times. It’s like living in your own state park! Hiking, relaxing, fire pit- anyway you want to chill out. We love this gem in Campton!
Quite area with a cute, cozy cabin, not much to do but for a couple days enjoyed it. Did the underground Kayak your, pizza, turtle pottery ice cream. Enjoyed our time!
Quiet and peaceful with a lovely view. Groceries are close by and loads of trails within a 30 minute drive. 4 x 4 definitely recommended although we managed without due to the time of year.
The cabin was cozy and comfortable, the perfect place to get away and relax
We loved the little yellow cabin in the woods. We spent most of our time outside, by the fire and the tire swing. All the amenities, like coffee, soaps, lots of clean towels and blankets. I would definitely recommend for a family, lots of places for the kids to sleep and the master bed was very comfortable. Walking around the property was great we hiked several trails.
My family (husband, son, DIL, and daughter 25-28yr old) enjoyed the remote setting to relax and unwind from our busy week. We took our cornhole boards,as well another outdoor games, crockpot and enjoyed the weekend!

I loved the property. We had so much fun. The only thing that I didn't like was it said it had two bathrooms but it only had one.

House needs some major tlc! Cabin floors were dirty upon arrival and place very dusty. Noticed huge dustballs on the floor. Kids slept in the loft & commented they heard critters in the walls all night. Trash bins were full outside next to house and hadn’t been emptied in a while. Next night, we left at 11pm & drove home after seeing a mouse climbing down the bedroom wall. I understand it’s the middle of nowhere but a mice infestation should be addressed. Messaged the owner and they said they’d forward to the cleaning company.

Alot to be desired
This is our 4th trip to the gorge, we thought how neat it would be to take the unbeaten path so what better way then to book a place with land and cool amenities. The cabin left alot to be desired, it was dusty, half the plates and utensils needed a good cleaning, the main bedroom lacked a bedbug cover on the box springs and had blood spots. Corners of the room had mouse droppings, cigarette butts scattered amongst the front yard. We took it in stride and made the best of it, unfortunately day 2 wasn't much better, the property trails had random garbage scattered around and smelled of gas, we planned on hiking, coming back and trying the sauna, surprise! The sauna didn't work either as rats had chewed the wires in half. This place left alot to be desired which is a shame because it had great potential. Also 4x4 highly recommended as parts of the drive have deep wash out spots, not a big deal and in the description.
