Beautiful setting! The barn/cabin felt very clean and beautifully designed and decorated accommodations. We appreciated the welcome note and snacks that were there when we arrived. Great communication about our reservations and we were checked on during our stay to make sure we had everything that we needed. It was very clean, even the hot tub was immaculate! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and so much hospitality! After a day of hiking the Barn Owl was the perfect place to relax. It was even better than the pictures! We loved the hot tub but especially loved all the animals on the property. This property is stunning and we felt welcomed from the start! This property is absolutely gorgeous! The hosts were amazing and was so welcoming and made us feel right at home! So many extras are available to use they literally thought of everything. The recreation part of the barn was so unique and fun, our family loved the hot tub, hammock, and the Ale 8 stocked fridge! The bathroom felt like a spa experience! Amazingly soft towels and a multi shower head shower that left the entire family saying wow! Walking the property was fun and we loved seeing the farm animals. The location is close to Red River Gorge so we had tons of trails and experiences close by but we had the privacy of the location that wasn’t busy at all. We would stay here again for sure! We had only booked 2 nights with the thought that 1) we'd be able to get an early start for a full day of hiking, 2) the hot tub was going to work out all of our body aches at the end of the day. Sadly, we had to bypass the hiking, but spending 40 hours (minus meal runs) ensconced in a place like this was a fantastic plan B (next time I'll bring popcorn for the air popper)! We had amazing fall foliage out the bedroom windows in the morning, and a beautiful moon filtering through the trees at night. If you need complete darkness to sleep, bring a mask as there are no curtains on the windows (as of yet). Not an issue for us, but it could be for some? We would love to come back! ##### Johanna K.
