Though tucked away, it’s still just a short drive from local restaurants and shopping. Guests love the walking trail that circles the lake, the lower-level firepit right by the water, and the chance to enjoy catch-and-release fishing. The cabin did have a mild musty odor but it was not bad. The cabin is right on a private lake and is somewhat secluded. The fishing was great and it was very peaceful. We met Gayle the property owner who was extremely nice and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. If you want peace and quiet with a beautiful water view then this is the cabin for you. The lake is catch and release fishing and we caught bluegill, sunfish, crappie, and largemouth bass. The one downfall is the cabin does not have a washer and dryer so pack plenty of clothes if you are staying for a while. We would definitely go back and stay again. ##### Candie B. She left the best candy in the refrigerator that I have ever eaten. The cabin was clean and had everything that we needed for the weekend. We caught a ton of fish, watched deer across the lake early in the morning and late in the evenings, and just enjoyed the overall surroundings. I would definitely recommend this place. In fact, I already have. Several of my friends saw pictures on Facebook and have questioned this place.
