"The hotel is excellent in every respect and sits in a perfect location to enjoy Santa Monica. The staff were friendly and professional. The restaurant on the 17th floor has really good food and drinks as well as beautiful views of the beach and and the city. Room service menu is also very good. My wife and loved it."

"Great location. Clean well maintained building. The staff were ok, but not engaging-not a social hostel. The rooms could also use a night light. The choice was full bright, or total darkness. I'd definitely recommend this hostel if you travel to LA. Public transportation was quick and easy from the airport or train station"

"We really enjoyed our stay. When we arrived, Bert at the front desk greeted us with kindness that felt special. Bert, thank you for your kindness and a welcoming greeting. The property is kept clean. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi daily. The pool bar is convenient and drinks are delicious. From our window we could see the Pacific Ocean while stepping out of the room we overlook of the pool from the 5th floor. This was the perfect location for us we definitely will return and ask for the same room."

"The hotel location is excellent, close to the Santa Monica Pier, beach & the 3rd Street Promenade. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff in the restaurant for breakfast were very friendly and kind. For parking, there are several options nearby, including one across the road, while we used the Civic Centre Parking Structure nearby. We did message the hotel both before and after the trip on queries, but no-one replied, although they like sending automated messages to you. Overall, good."

"Lovely hotel. We would stay there again. Great beach access. Very walkable with access to transit. The staff is kind. The room is beautiful and large, and pretty quiet despite the lobby having loud music and a bar right out in the open. You could sometimes hear the bass thumping through the wall so they should maybe turn that down. But it wasn’t super noticeable. The only real reason I gave 4 stars is because on one of the days (I think Saturday) we left the room for like 6 hours early in the day and had the service light on. We came back and the room was not clean. We turned it off and hung out for a bit, and then went out again and turned the service light on again. Came home after dinner and the room had never been cleaned or turned down. It was only the one time, and it’s maybe a little picky to complain about it, but for an expensive 5 star hotel, it’s part of the service you expect."
