The well known Port Isaac, Tintagel and Boscastle are all close by, along with the beautiful beach at Trebarwith Strand, and wonderful walks such as the Camel trail and St Necten's Glen to name but a few! Climb the Tor, meet the local sheep, cows, chickens and ponies, listen to the birdsong. We have swallows nesting in the summer and the famous starling murmurations fly overhead twice a day from mid October until early spring. Wendy and John are excellent hosts - John even let us feed their sheep. It's a little bit of an adventure down single track lanes to reach the property, but (as with much of Cornwall) the views are worth it. It's well placed for picturesque spots along the coast, as well as a walk up Rough Tor. You definitely need a car. The cottage is tastefully and fully equipped. Everything you need is there and it was very clean. Wendy welcomed us with homemade scones and flowers we picked ourselves. John and Wendy let you use their beautiful garden for the duration of your stay, including the terrace with a view of the lake. The winter garden is a beautiful additional room. The views from the living room are outstanding. If you like walking the moors are minutes away,perfectly located to visit boscastle,Bude and many more. This cottage was so peaceful and quite,inside was immaculate and had everything you need. Easy check in and out, 5 stars don't do it justice. ##### neil r. Incredible views, breathtaking, the peaceful atmosphere and uninterrupted views, just unbelievably fabulous! The cottage is first class, beautifully furnished, with everything you could possibly need. Wendy and John are the most lovely hosts, so welcoming, and were so helpful with so much local knowledge and helpful tips and advice.
