Lakefront House w/ Pool, Boat Dock & views of Old Kinderhook Golf Course

  • This Old Kinderhook home has it all! The fun starts the moment you open the front door. Look through the wall of windows at the swimming pool (not heated), the lake and the renowned Old Kinderhook golf course… inviting you to come out and play!

    An open comfortable living area, a dining table big enough for your whole crew, and a gorgeous kitchen welcome you. The bedrooms provide a variety of bed sizes so that all ages have that “just right” bed. A large conversation/TV area is made for socializing, and a new quiet room provides a getaway space. Downstairs the beautiful bar, ample recliners around another 70” TV, a gas fireplace, a stand-alone ice maker, pool table & foosball are fun for all.

    Outside the lower deck adjoins the beautiful swimming pool (not heated, typically opens mid to late April) where all can splash the day away. The gentle walk to the 2-well dock leads to water fun including many float toys and ski equipment. The upper deck sports a new propane fire pit for relaxing with your favorite beverage at the end of a long busy, fun-filled day. Treat yourself to a vacation you won’t forget!

The stay was immaculate. It was literally home away from home. From the hospitality from the host to the welcoming of the stay. Everything you needed or thought you didn't was there. Plenty of room. Entertainment availability at the stay, including plenty of board games. Communication with the host was accurate, quick, and helpful. We were a family of 18 celebrating Thanksgiving. We had Everything plus more than we nedeed.My family really enjoyed the stay and i really appreciated the host. Thank you sooooo much Nicole for EVERYTHING.

Our stay was fantastic. There were 8 of us (all above 70) on a golf trip. The house was great, very spacious, very clean, very comfortable, and with a scenic view. Nicole, our host was very quick with on line answers to a few questions and super friendly in a phone conversation. We grilled two evenings and the kitchen was very well stocked with grilling tools. Also, the kitchen was more than well stocked with dishes, silverware, glasses, etc..A definite 10 out of 10 rental home. Hope to be back someday.

We are a travel team attending the kids sporting event in Camdenton. Great amenities, plenty of room to relax and loved having dinner all together at one table. Available boat rental was the icing on the cake since we have limited “down” time. Highly recommend this property!

2nd Time and Loving It!

This was our second stay at this property and won’t be our last. Once again, our family of 16 people, ages 3-66 yrs, had the best time and created some beautiful memories! From check-in to check-out, everything was great. Nicole was super responsive to any questions we had. The house offered all the essentials we needed. The location can’t be beat for a family trip. We chose to make our meals in lieu of eating out so we especially like the table for 10 (we did bring a card table for the little ones to eat at). The pool is the biggest hit for everyone. We also rented a pontoon for 5 days and that was also a lot of fun. The kayaks, tube and life vests were great to have available! The guys enjoyed a round of golf at Old Kinderhook while the women went to town for some shopping. Overall, a perfect family vacation!

Celebrating 80th Birthday

We enjoyed our time at this property! The Kinderhook community is very nice. It is a great house for a large family gathering. We were celebrating my mothers 80th birthday and had ,over the course of the week, 19 people in the house. The kitchen is very well stocked as is the whole house. The pool was a great area and also stocked well with toys and floats. Wayne was very responsive to communication and great to work with,

Perfect lake house getaway!

After our annual trip to the beach was cancelled due to covid, we were looking for something closer to home with a pool and activities for our kids. Eagle Haven exceeded all of our expectations. Our kids actually preferred this trip to our beach trips! The owner, Nancy, clearly loves her home and it is evident that she wants her guests to love and enjoy it just as much. It truly feels like you are a guest in someone’s home as opposed to just staying in a rental house. Nancy’s communication was great and she has taken care to fill the home with the little extras that just make your trip so much better. We were thrilled to arrive and find each shower already stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Plentiful beach towels, fun treats left for us, board games and books for the kids. As my ten year old observed, “she is ready for all ages!” We also really appreciated the ice machines, the easy to use fire pit and grill, the supplied kayaks and lily pad ... and of course the clean and beautiful swimming pool where we spent hours. I could go on for pages! If you are looking for a beautiful home in a quiet part of the lake, with the special touches of a caring owner, this is the place. We hope to return!

Family Getaway

Our family of 10 stayed for 3 days between Christmas and New Years. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We chose this property based on the large dining table where we could all sit together for meals and games, and it did not disappoint...our family of 10 fit comfortably around the table and I suspect you could fit 12. The master suite is wonderful, and the whole house is spacious and yet still cozy. Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the pool and lake.

The house is even better than the pictures and we spent most of our time in the pool! Definitely the best house to escape the craziness of our current world. We also held a murder mystery, and this was the perfect setting for it.

This is a truly amazing property, beautiful, clean and has everything (extra life jackets, pool toys, sunscreen and so much kitchen items). We had room for all 21 ppl to have a room and had 0 issues! We didn't want to leave the house it was just the best place to be with beautiful decks (2 large ones) gorgeous dock and awesome pool!!
