"The Launch” Beach Cottage on Camano Island

Welcome to The Launch, our cozy 98-year-old beach cottage just steps from the Maple Grove Boat Launch. Nestled on the northwest corner of Camano Island, it's the perfect retreat for relaxing, exploring, and making memories. Spend your days hiking scenic trails, beachcombing, browsing local vintage shops, or simply unwinding by the water. From the house, enjoy stunning views of Mt. Baker while watching harbor seals, bald eagles, boats, and the ever-changing tides.

Getting here is easy—no ferry required! We're just 1 hour and 10 minutes north of Seattle. Need to pick up a few essentials? Huntington's Corner Grocery is only a 3-minute drive (or a 1-mile walk), and the nearest IGA grocery store is 10 minutes away.

Just 7 minutes away, Terry's Corner is home to Camano Commons, where you'll find espresso, fresh pastries, burgers, ice cream, and charming local shops. If you love treasure hunting, 2nd Chance Thrift Shop, Spare Room Flea Market, and The Camano Shop are all within a 10-minute drive.

Cama Beach State Park is a 13 minute drive south and features 15 miles of park trails, a waterfront park with spectacular views of Saratoga Passage, fishing, boating, and the Cama Beach Cafe! Drive another 7 minutes south of Cama and you will find Camano Island State Park with its forested trails, rocky shoreline and sweeping views of Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountains and Mount Rainier.

THE SPACE:
The Launch is a three-level cottage designed for families, couples, and small groups who want room to gather while still having space to spread out. The home features three bedrooms, a loft, and two three-quarter bathrooms (showers only). The levels are connected by both a traditional staircase and a spiral staircase, so guests should be comfortable using stairs.

-Bedroom 1: Queen bed with dresser and closet
-Bedroom 2: Queen bed with armoire
-Bedroom 3: Full bed
Additional sleeping: Queen air mattress and Pack 'n Play available

-Two three-quarter bathrooms (showers only)
-One upstairs near Bedroom 1
-One downstairs shared by Bedrooms 2 and 3

-A fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker and filtered water, oven, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster oven, cookware, bakeware, serving platters, mixing bowls, dishes, glassware, wine rack, pantry space, and a dining table that seats six.

Living Room
-Relax on the comfortable couches with seating for six while enjoying the 55-inch Smart TV. Log into your favorite streaming services, including Netflix and Disney+, or enjoy books, board games, card games, and fast Wi-Fi throughout the home.

Bathrooms:
-We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bath towels, toilet paper, and a hair dryer in the upstairs bathroom.
