As soon as you step inside, you will be greeted by the quaint decor, charming furnishings, and a layout that will give everyone their own peace and quiet when need be. Start each morning with a fresh cup of coffee and a classic breakfast whipped up in the full kitchen and bring it out to the large deck boasting incredible views that will put you at ease in no time.



    The Space:

    Plus, when the sun starts to dip behind the horizon, the firepit will be just the place to reminisce with loved ones as a tasty meal cooks on the gas grill! When you want to settle in for the night, the living room boasts a plush leather sofa and flatscreen TV to watch your favorite shows. Don't worry about sandy clothes either, as you will have your own private washer and dryer. This home has housed fun trips for four generations in the same family - come make your own memories!

Was a bit surprised that the kitchen supplies were very mixed, did not seem to have more than one knife, spoon or fork of the same design. Bed was comfortable, but some of the furniture was in need of update/replacement

Had a good weekend getaway. Was looking for relaxation and got just that! Clean place with comfy beds. Highly recommend relaxing out back with a fire in the fire pit. Looking forward to returning to this great little family owned vacation getaway.

Nice little getaway cabin

This is a very nice cabin with a lovely view across Saratoga Passage to Bainbridge Island. It is high bank and there is no direct access down to the shore, but it was quiet and we had a very relaxing time.

Pure cabin, great view - - absentee owners. Please know that this is not a lake home. So there is no dishwasher or air conditioning. (That the property lists "thermostat" for heating and AC is deceptive in my opinion.) The kitchen has no hanging cabinets which puts a limit on what they can offer. Want a glass of wine in a wine glass? You'll need to pack them for the trip. But the washer and dryer are first rate and soap along with dryer sheets are provided. Cabins from this era typically do not feature this luxury. The inside of the cabin was very clean upon arrival. But the deck is very weathered and the grass on the slope facing the water view is completely brown. There are items like an abandoned umbrella lying in the dirt next to the cabin which is why I mention absentee owners in my opening. The cabin has a great view of the Saratoga Passage and boat traffic is constant. There is not access to the shoreline because of the drop-off. But the shoreline is easily accessible via the local state park, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The biggest disappointment was the internet service. Looking back, this is also mentioned by another reviewer. The top download speed is 3 MBS. We were nearing the end of an 18 day trip so things like paying bills and reviewing transactions were on my docket. My bank would not let me connect due to the slow speed. I reached out to the management team and they said it was due to the local providers. My response: Starlink.

Beautiful and comfortable

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was clean and comfortable. The view was spectacular. We lucked out with the weather for April. It was clear and crisp. All this and it was an easy drive from the Seattle area.

Classic Camano Cabin

We loved our stay at Sundown Memory Lane Cabin. Much loved family cabin was comfy and cozy with vintage decor and furnishings. Comfortable queen bed. We had a great stay for Mothers Day weekend and the Camano Island Studio Tour. We loved sitting out on the deck, reading, BBQing and taking in the fabulous view of the Olympic Mts and Saratoga Passage boat traffic. We'll look forward to staying again!

Great old fashioned family cabin, with comfortable beds. Basic, but well thought out kitchen provisions, in a lovely neighborhood. Super clean. And the view was amazing. Definitely would recommend. Thank you.

Amazing view but …

Although the home was dated and may need a view upgrades, the view was amazing. The quietness of the neighbor and being able to relax was worth it.

Can’t Beat the View

Even though we had rain and drizzle 70 percent of our stay, the location over looking the Saratoga Passage was beautiful. Wish we could have enjoyed the deck more than the weather allowed. The main bedroom was very comfortable. Note to folks who intend to use the kitchen and grill to prepare and serve meals: be prepared for an amenities that are dated.

Girls weekend!

My 3 grown daughters and I stayed in this lovely cabin for a girls getaway weekend. It was so cozy and inviting. We loved seeing all four generations of family on the walls and in the decor. This home had everything we needed. The view is spectacular! It was rainy the whole weekend but we stayed cozy and warm inside looking out. We saw a movie in Stanwood nearby, had a delicious dinner at the golf course grill, visited the animals at the Camano shelter, shopped at the outlets a short drive south on 1-5 and stayed up late laughing and talking and watching movies. The beds were very comfortable. We can’t wait to come back!

A bit dated, but a great view, and great price

Overdue for a renovation. Bedrooms were tight, could be arranged better. Queen should be rotated so the closet is more accessible. One of the closet doors in the primary room does not slide. Room with 2 doubles would be better with a bunk bed. Beautiful view from sofa and dining table! Dining table chairs could do with new cushions since the ones there are stained. Kitchen was fairly well equipped although we only ate breakfast there. We appreciated that there were coffee filters available!
