Staff were responsive before our visit when we got in touch. They were all friendly and welcoming. We arrived late after a long day travelling and the room was cosy and comfortable. Breakfast with fresh, local produce and in a great locataion. I hope we can go back some time.

Great location for Luc Sur Mer
Nice hotel in a nice little seafront town. Ideal for the ferry from Caen. Only gripe was windows not particularly safe for small children.

Lovely, modern room renovation. Hotel is in a beautiful location on the sea, which is readily accessible. Parking is on the street if spots are available.

Comfortable, convenient, and would recommend
It was a great place to stay. It seems to be a bit older, with an appearance of being worn, but that may be due to the sea.....which is just on the other side of the parking lot! Saw the red sky in the morning from the sunrise, and the red sky at night...my window faced north, so it was great.....nice sea breeze, and very convenient to get to the WWII sites along the coast. Restaurant was good, breakfast was typical European style (bread, ham luncheon meat, cheese, etc). overall had a great stay.

Great seaside location
A good hotel for the star rating. Great view from top floor bedroom along the seafront and spacious room (but no lift). Nice continental breakfast, didn't eat in restaurant but menu looked good. Some English spoken. Only 10-15 min drive from ferry port & close to Caen, Bayeux and all Normandy beaches (on Sword Beach). Only thing I'd add is that is coffee/team making facilities in room would have been nice.

Lovely seaview
Great location, calm, quiet room in pleasant hotel. Room had all we needed and hotel was an easy 20 mins drive in early morning to ferry back to Portsmouth. Beach is also nice, good for children and with cafes and shops nearby.

We chose Le Beau Rivage because we wanted to visit the D-Day beaches and we were more than pleasantly surprised with the gorgeous view of the beach from our room. We also enjoyed a very tasty meal at the hotel's restaurant.

Winter One Night Stand
Unique seafront setting which I have long admired. As a trial I stayed one night in late season for Bed & Breakfast only having previously e-mailed advising of late arrival. I needed to phone standby number posted on door to get door access code. Hotel appeared deserted but bedroom proved satisfactory if small. Breakfast adequate. Patron friendly but had not monitored my e-mail posted to the hotel's own website.. I got what I expected and this will inform my decision whether to return during the season with a group of friends.

Sword Beach
Godt hotel med dejligt nyere badeværelse. Der var en lugt af noget skadedyrsbekæmpelse … men vi levede med det, det ene døgn og fandt heldigvis ingen skadedyr! Der mangler beslysning på trappen op til 1. og 2. sal. Parkering muligt helt tæt på.

Séjour agréable, la chambre de taille correcte seuls bémols, le manque de rideaux à la fenêtre et pas de penderie ni de ceintres pour detendre les vêtements... le personnel est accueillant et très sympatique. Un le parking gratuit et tout est accessible à pieds

L hôtel bénéficie d un emplacement au top au Luc le personnel est aimable et efficace Le restaurant propose une belle carte Le ptit roofop offre un plus au lieu Seul bémol indépendant de l hôtel est le stationnement Pour ma part les oreillers inconfortables car trop gros On est sur du détail au vu de tout le reste

Hôtel très bien placé pas de parking chambre sentant la peinture pas de porte entre chambre et toilette pour s’assoir sur XV ilbfaut se mettre en biais restaurant et petit déjeuner excessivement par rapport à ce qui est proposé la mayonnaise vmaison pour les 6 crevette à 16 euros est industriel et non maison comme annoncé par exemple

Super cosy hotel and perfect location
We had a great stay at the Le Beau Rivage. The hotel is located right at the beach front with a splendid view to the sea. The room was small, but nice and clean. The sea breeze made it out as a natural A/C, however it did not completely manage to keep the room cool. The breakfast was simple, but with a high quality selection. We did not miss anything. Would definitely stay at Le Beau Rivage again!

En face de la plage, parking annoncé sur hotel.com est en fait un parking pour tout le monde, difficile d'avoir une place ! Chambre vue sur mer, literie très correcte mais radiateur arraché, moquette décollée, volet bloqué ouvert Très petite salle de douche avec lave main en lieu et place d'un lavabo, pas pratique. Propreté tres "approximative " de la douche, surprenant en période de covid..
