This property is situated 150m from Callala Bay, accessed by a quiet, flat cul-de-sac road. Perfect for the kids to ride down or to pull a kayak along. Once at the bay enjoy the best that Jervis Bay has to offer, including jetty, boat ramp, Wowly Creek, swimming, diving, fishing and long walks, with dog in-tow, along kilometres of unspoilt beaches and the clearest water in NSW. After a day at the beach come home to a private and secure backyard to enjoy a BBQ, fire pit, a couple of drinks, laughs and memories with family and friends. The house was adequate for our needs but does need a clean with bits left under beds etc. The coffee machine had mould in it and we had to make the yard dog proof as both gates didn’t close when we arrived. Location is not the nicest part of Jervis bay (adjacent beach was pretty average) but central location to get north or south. The property is very basic though. Heating was insufficient, kitchen tap broken (still usable and to be fair Sinead was not aware it was broken), fire pit was a few rocks clumped together in the back corner of the yard and the home was drafty. Parts have been upgraded, new floors, paint and kitchen. Beds were reasonably comfortable, although we were very glad we brought our own blankets as the light weight doonas wouldn’t have cut it. We were a group of soccer parents and our daughters and the bonding experience our girls had this weekend was amazing. Our family and friends, a total of 7 of us, found the location and property perfect for our needs! AND it's pet friendly! We cooked our dinners at home and the kitchen was well equipped! The outdoor fire pit was awesome for our evening entertainment and wine! The beach is right down the street and we loved every minute of our time there! Other sights and events are within 10-20k in any direction. There's a ferry from Myola right to Huskisson which worked out wonderfully for us to all go whale watching! It ended up our ferry captains wife, Jenny, came to meet me at the pier as it turned out we were from the same place in Iowa as children! What a small world! Thank you so much for renting your home to us!
