It was also nice to be able to park in the garage. One thing that renters should be aware of is that the basement suite is also a rental, and we could hear quite a bit from upstairs. Unfortunately we didn’t realize there were people staying in the other half of the house. It is a legal property with no access to either side by the other. However we could hear noises at night which freaked out some of our group. And we opened our bedroom curtains to the sight of other people in a hot tub down below. We didn’t care at all that it’s shared. We just would have appreciated if that was mentioned somewhere in the listing so we were aware when someone walked by the window setting off the motion sensors. Lol.
