10/10 Excellent
"This sweet cottage was the perfect weekend getaway for us -- peace and quiet, surrounded by nature -- ahhh. Sitting by the stone fireplace and catching fish in the lake right off the porch was so relaxing. Teresa and Bill will great hosts, too. We can't wait to return!"

Updated, Quiet Location, deck, trees, one bedroom plus futon, Walk To Downtown.
6/10 Okay
"First of all I want to say there was great communication from the host. The apartment was just okay. The listing says no pets but there was lots of little white dog hairs all over the futon couch, we didn ’t even sit on it. Parking was not good, too far away from entry door. It had snowed the day before we arrived and nothing had been shoveled and we had to make several trips back and forth from our vehicle trying not to fall on snow and ice. Amenities were sufficient and “everything “ is labeled on what works and what to do or not to do. "
"The host was absolutely amazing. We had a little hiccup in the beginning but was fixed immediately. The response was immediate to rectify the issue. It was a completely unforeseen problem a massive storm the day before arrival knocked out the power and the heat pump wouldn't start. It was honestly amazing to be able to look at the stars in the sky. It had breathtaking views from the private beach. It's only around 30 minutes to the border. You can actually see Canada from the back porch. It's only a short drive to the animal refuge. The most amazing part was only 15 minutes away going to the reversing falls. We definitely plan on staying again in the summer to go whale watching. "
